There are reviews of every type of miner available on this site. Take 10 minutes and read up on them.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Antminer D3 is good miner,
ebay is over price for many ASIC miner,

The choice should be made when deciding what to mine.  also, best method is to work out cost includes electricity cost as this main factor.

Good members here for advice if you need more help.

ASIC is a specialized line of excavator. Using ASICs reduces the time it takes to get back on the money quickly and with the earliest return on investment. Currently there are many types of ASIC machines for different coin types. Choose the right machine for your needs.

At present, ASICs are being used extensively in the exploitation of coin because of its high performance. Asics machines will help to recover capital faster than the old VGA models. This is a factor that attracted investors.

I am getting back into mining after a two year absence.

I am going with the Antminer L3+ for several reasons:
1. I could buy it with bitcoin cash which I had from my prior bitcoins. The recent pump effectively dropped the price for me.
2. They will ship in late December which coincides with my roommate moving out and freeing up a bedroom
3. At 70db, they are half the noise level of an Antminer S9.
The downside
1. If you do not buy direct, they are much more expensive
2. If you buy direct, you must buy bitcoin cash to pay for it.
3. Loud - you know ASIC minors are very loud -right?

The whatsminer gives me like 2k extra profit including the powercost. But its 300€ more expensive to buy. Wanted to know if investing in SHA256 was still worth it.

In order for you to decide which hardware to use, you need to determine the investment
that you are willing to put first. Some miners says L3 are the most profitable ASIC miner available.

You can buy the antminer l3+ with in this amount dude. If you use the domestic electricity you can able to make the 400 to 500 US dollars for sure with the one miner hardware. Once you make the amount back again you can install the multiple miner hardware to mine the bitcoins.
Ebay resellers are selling the antminer s9 is above 3000 USD. If you little more fund to invest it you can make more money.

Well the Whatsminer is basically a more efficient miner than the S9 from what i've read. Ans costs 1k less than the L3+. Its just that i have never heard of whatsminer and i am unsure of the quality. If i can build something for under 2k and get decent profit id be fine with that. As long as it can pay for itself in less than a year.

Bitmain is not sure with the production and delivery too late as forum members reported right! If you are sure still wish to go with them you can invest your bitcoin or fiat to purchase with them. I do not think that they or other online stores selling ASIC hardwares will not give the COD option on purchasing the miner from them. Apart from you have to bear the custom charges as well. Please connect with the good trader who are selling it.
