Newbie question about mining

I'm new to mining and I was thinking is there any page where you can see the new altcoins coming out by the date. If I understand minig right if you start mining when the coin come out the difficulty is low-you can make some profit and mine lot of coins since  I have only 2 gpu setup for now...

Please correct me if im wrong

That's correct assume they dont do a "ninja" launch and if the coin more than a pump n dump
