Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

hum... quite strange when there is a centralized company behind it. I guess you can find one or more contacts if you google it.

Actually blockchain.info didn't support bitcoin gold till now so you can't directly withdraw bitcoin gold from their wallet if you have bitcoin at the time of bitcoin gold fork.

OP you have to wait for them to support it or atleast allow users to claim it. There is alternative method which I have used to claim bitcoin cash before but that will not work with bitcoin gold as there is no forked version of electrum for bitcoin gold till now.

Wow, thanks for help but I would like to know how to contact blockchain.info and raise the request for the same. Google doesn't help much in this matter.

Looks like you don't know what is bitcoin gold LOL  Grin Grin

It is a bitcoin fork which was already done and automatically every bitcoin holder have got equal amount of bitcoin gold in that same address. So manager or the team behind BTG can't help on this issue.

Blockchain.info might add support for BTG like they have done for bitcoincash but it might take more than a year or forever.

You can import your seed to coinomi wallet. Just restore from seed and write your seeds on there, after that you can add coin and select Bitcoin Gold. Select advanced setting and write M/44H/0H/0H and click add. I just claim my bitcoin gold yesterday and it work.

I'm doing steam artwork.Official thread (Indo, but please pm me even if you're english speaker) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5323281
