[The shipping shouldn't take that long. Maybe a couple weeks. But why do I have to wait until January?

Seems they're getting worse then. They've had my warranty returned R4 since july, told me in august they'd replace it with an S9 to ship in october, but now close to December no shipping update and no response for months now when asking for an update.

They are obviously premining before selling them.

Plenty of cases where people received miners with dust inside when buying directly form BitMain.

Good thing you have a bunch of proof.

Meanwhile I have been to their burn-in facility and know that it is an old, very dusty factory.

I also know that they dont need to pre-mine because they already have more hardware built sitting in warehouses than they can find datacenter space to run it in.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Good thing you have proof of their dusty factory conditions!

They can find / create datacenters if they want. And the shitty quality of S9 batches lately does pitch a bit extra for the idea that they're selling used miners after premining with them.

I do. I am just legally bound not to share that level of detail. Also, there is no real difference in s9 quality between batches, this is just more of you creating a narrative to try and prop up your empty position.

Also you dont just create high density electrical datacenters just whenever you want. There is an industry wide shortage of hosting space.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Yes I think it is because there has been a schedule and due to the appropriate queue

The complains lately of people buying S9's and having to ship back SEVERAL is going through the roof.

People buying 10, sending back 4. Shit like that. Why are you licking bitmains ass? Surely you see how many complaints the new batches are getting? What narrative? Are you just closing your eyes and covering your ears and talking really loud?

Bitmain usually announces their products around 3-6 months before they even deliver to you. Maybe it's the time they need to manufacture the mining machines, plus the time for delivery. Some countries beyond the waiting time, they have to wait more 3 months for delivery. It's a pity the demand is high and Asian countries benefit from the distance.

That would really still on next year and expect you would really wait for more longer just like the same on other purchasers. I don't know whats the reason behind such delay but this would really connect on having their own long queue list on sending packages worldwide but I would say that it wont really took that long no matter how many it is because its not really a big issue to send those miners into their own respective buyers.

But this not usual thing happening bitmain when you see 6 months before. When the time China announced the bitcoin banned from that time onwards there are many complaints been made in the forum to tell the delay in production and shipping with the bitmain site.
Due to that reason many investors turns to different resellers who is selling it for high profit.
If Bitmain team works big they can make the more orders fast and release to shipping ASAP.

We have to wait several months before we have our mining machines at home. When I bought my first product from Bitmain, they delivered on time and got in my country with 2 weeks. Everything was fine and working very nice until I made my second order. It took 5 days to approve my payment, they delayed the shipping, and 2 months later when I was already convinced that I lost my money, my mining rig finally got my home. The difficulty of mining had rised considerably and I sold for 80% the price. Sad but true, I will never buy anything from them. If you live in Asia countries or China, your lucky!

This has been the norm with them recently as more and more people are voicing out their concerns (orders being delayed indefinitely) regarding their orders. If I have to guess, the reason behind it is their production capability being insufficient and not enough with the current demand of the community. Cryptocurrency got a massive attention from the community and with that in mind, the demand for it skyrocketed even more. It produced an insurmountable demand that can't be met by the current supply from Bitmain. You should adjust your expectation with them and there's a high chance that you'll be waiting longer than what stated by them.
