In Nigeria, I don't think we are close to have a Bitcoin ATM yet because, the knowledge of bitcoin is still very minimal and the level of awareness is also low. Government will need to cash into the Bitcoin phenomenon to allow for innovations and trends that you are canvassing. On the whole, if bitcoin as a cryptocurrency is said to be a virtual currency, I really see no need for an ATM.

In my country I haven't seen a bitcoin ATM. I don't understand why they are needed at all. We still make purchases mainly for the Fiat using a credit card. It seems to me that the bitcoin ATM is a return to the distant past when the shops were not equipped with terminals for Bank cards. I would not put a dollar in a rarity.

I heard that in my country , there is one, yet it was said to be broken, so It can be counted yet, i hope the'll put some of it nationwide.

There are zero bitcoin ATMs in my city.I live in a small city with around 8000 citizens and bitcoin isn`t very popular.I don`t think that there is a need to exchange bitcoin for cash.It will be great if the exisitng POC terminals or ATMs are updated to accept bitcoin+fiat debit/credit cards. This is more efficient, rather than creating only bitcoin related ATMs.

I am very sad to inform that I don't have even a single ATM in my town but there are some ATMs in my country and domestic exchanges are working in order to build awareness about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies among the merchants to make a Bitcoin-friendly market environment. If Bitcoin ATM is used for anything other than checking balance or buying Bitcoins then it goes against the core principle of using it as a payment method if we are selling Bitcoins to withdraw cash against our Bitcoins. However, I am expecting a growth in the number of Bitcoin ATMs in my country in the coming 5 years.

What's with the obsession over Bitcoin ATMs? I don't think they're very useful. In fact, I think they're most useful for its visibility because it also acts as an advertisement, rather than its primary purpose of dispensing Bitcoin or fiat. I guess it's cool when you first encounter one, but you're only ever going to use it once. Most charge really high fees, and it's infinitely more convenient to buy or sell within the safety of your home using online exchanges. It will only really see use in emergencies, when you have Bitcoin but no fiat or something.

Bitcoin ATMs were not that popular around the globe. It has been getting implemented all around. In specific at present bitcoin Atm implementation is much effective on Japan. Around the globe in several other countries the bitcoin atm that are in usage were taken back due to the less usage from users because of the increased withdrawal charge.

In my country (Montenegro) there is no any BTC ATM. In fact, the knowledge of Bitcoin is pretty low here. Almost everyone has never heard about it. The nearest BTC ATM is in Belgrade, Serbia. And it's only one there, in the country with 9 milion people...
Anyway, I hope we will have get one too. during the 2018.
