You might need to rank up a little but you could try here n the forums. Just remember to always ask for collateral so you safe. As long as you can do that it's fine and perfectly safe. The problem is getting people who want to loan btc to come to you. I'm not sure how much profit can really be made.

Hi apvmoreira.

You don't need to rank up. You just need to post your request in the part of this forum that's dedicated to lending.

You'll find the Lending board HERE.

Post your offer, see what responses you get, adjust your offer if you need to.

Why must you borrow bitcoin? Why can't you borrow $80 or BTC0.01 worth of any other currency?

Lending only works when you have a collateral worth more than the amount that you want to lend. Newbie or not isn't a matter if you have collateral.

Pretty sure Poloniex exchange has the lending option in their exchange. But not sure what is required to start a lending service there or to borrow a loan. You can check it out.

Also this forums has a lending section which you might want to go through as its mentioned above. But you need a Co-lateral such as gift card, accounts or any other alt coins.

I'm pretty sure you need to have verified account before you can start using their lending bots.

@OP
what collateral do you have, how many do you need exactly and what are you going to use that loan money for?

Rank doesn't matter as long as valid collateral is provided these days accounts can be bought and rank literally means nothing. Always ask for collateral no matter how aged the account is. There has been numerous times where higher ranked users have scammed the person who lent money to them.

P2P type of lending is well known here in forum as majority are trusting the lenders here especially the ones that has many experiences of past loans.

At this rate, if you're just a newbie and you don't have something to offer equivalent or higher than your asking loan amount you may even tagged as newbie asking for loan without collateral.

But if you do have something to offer in return as collateral that is worth for your asking loan amount, you can have a successful deal.

If you hold some altcoins that has potential or not just a worthless coin and has great value then that can be a good collateral.

Yes ranking up isn't necessarilly needed although if you're not trusted enough, Collaterals should be secured by a trusted escrow. [A list of escrows: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0].
Sadly Op isn't looking for a p2p lending although since he mentioned he's open minded to it. I'll be seconding this recommendation.

@OP, To clarify, You're planning to offer your lending services with a starting budget of less than .1BTC right? If so, Even p2p will be fine as long as things are done right. Collaterals as well as escrows are encouraged to use here for the safety of lenders and borrowers. For starters you can read this: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! as well as the other sticky on Lending section. You might also want to get a reference of things through the threads of renowed loaners here like zazarb and condoras

But if you're just borrowing aside from reading the terms of your lender, its just two things-- its mandatory that you'll offer a valid collateral and this collateral should be kept by a trusted person on this forum.

Lending is also on Exchangers like poloniex and Bitfinex possible. As I remember minimum is at 0.001 BTC, if they didn't change. Or you just exchange BTC to another coin and lend for example LTC or Doge, so that you have a low minimum.

You have to create this thread section to have the more people looking to you to have your service, but you should be careful about your investment fund in this business. To secure yourself you can ask collateral that will be good move if you done with that.
If you want learn the tactics been handled in the lending service, irfanpak is the right person that you can gather the more information you should follow to prevent yourself from the scammers.

I doubt there is that will meet your desired requirement. Try to understand Poloniex policy about lending.

By the way, you consider doing fiat lending with the same idea? If yes, research in your area or country if there is an available or present local platform of lending . It was way more less hassle if it's on your local since that will be more reachable compare to international lending platform. The requirements is kinda convenient too I guess as there is competition between them. Just giving you an option.

About your views on P2P... there are ways to deal with that without worrying too much. You just have to choose reputable person (or you can choose even those who aren't popular as long as the deal is secured), use escrows and for your part, offer a valid collateral.

Okay let's say that your rank does matter here in forum but if you have a decent collateral and the lenders sees it's value to be worth it to get your loan amount, you'll be approved. P2p isn't fraudulent and it is the practice here in forum that users/lenders will approve your request if you can give or you'll meet their requirement for that amount. Just provide something valuable that you can give as collateral.

All those who are telling you to use the lending section of poloniex, dont do it if you really want to keep your funds safe.

And of course that the return is a shit, because they are only giving you about 0.02% a day, that is about 0.14% a week and it is not worth it, banks are giving more than that.

And you have to pay a little fee for that, about 15% of everything that you earn in that platform from lending.

Dont lend if you dont want to loss money, people are dessesperated in order to earn some cryptos, it is not worth the risk, and you only have 80 dollars, better to spend it on a good night.

Poloniex is full of defaulters so stay away from them. You can check the lending section here in the forum and if you are serious and open minded about p2p as you say, find a good loaner there and offer 120% worth of your money you will borrow in valid collateral and everything I am sure will be fine.

What do you mean Polo s full of defaulters? You cannot default on margin lending since you need to have valid collateral in order to get the loan in the first place. Polo s fine, just a bit less profitable then before.

Thank you all, really helped a lot.

I'll go and check in more detail Poloniex and also what is collateral and the charges of the escrow.

Someone said that those 80 $ could be spent in a night. I agree but i didn't invest a dime in this and already have 106000 satoshis. All made in roughly 2 weeks. So i will stay in that: no money invested and see where can i reach. My idea was to lend for days to get at least 5% to 10%.

Trading is not working at the moment and lending seems more safe with those tools you advise.

I think he can just pop into the Lending section of this forum. Whatever I read over there tells me that people are putting the price that they want to. So there is competition on how much percentage to be taken as interest rate and you can start lending once you get the lowest interest and people start showing up at your thread. Also, you must offer the escrow service here because it could be risky business and people might just flew away with your money and you may not see the fruitful results over here. Better invest your money into trading or just hold the bitcoin and watch it grow, the traditional way of earning the money. !

Do this if you really don't know what to expect from the bitcoin lending, we can mortgage things in the real world but what you do in the business where it online and everything is anonymous. I never liked the idea of lending anonymous coins and expect return form it. Thats crazy and I would never do it and I will also not take loans as whole thing is different story for me.
