It's impossible and where are you got that news? that's just another bullshit. Even a lot of people are saying about the bitcoin was a bubble and they are still buying the more bitcoin.
Or it just another FUD to the bitcoin. The possibility of the bitcoin worth the altcoin price is there. But less than some percent i suppose.

It is possible for bitcoin to drop to altcoin prices but not this year. It is highly unlikely for btc to go down to those levels if mass adoption of it is increasing everyday, generating more demand for it. Invest on bitcoin if you want but you better do it on dumps for cheaper entry points. For now I think the chance of this happening in the next 5 years is less than 1%. Do not be afraid to invest into btc, but before you do make sure to research the mechanism of holding btc safely so that your funds would not be lost in the process.

Regarding anything happening to Bitcoin, then I can assure you in coming 4-5 years at least, Bitcoin is not gonna lose the dominance in the market. Many altcoins meanwhile will definitely rise in overall marketcap but will not be in the stage of competing Bitcoin. Moreover, regarding investing, it's always best to do your own research and don't follow everyone's suggestions in crypto investment(highly risky). But you can go for Bitcoin anytime. 5x profit isn't going anywhere next year if you invest today.

Bitcoin is now $8000 and you are still looking for the right time to come . Invest now or forget it tomorrow because it might grow more than $8000 soon .
I don't think the person who suggested you that "altcoins may drop bitcoin" knows a thing about market . Do your research , you will know bitcoin is dominating so much that all the altcoins are going red and going through the worst phase at the moment . If some other altcoin comes up with a good price then bitcoin price may fall , but at the present time bitcoin is the king !

In getting involved in trading the crypto space, we need to have an exact timing of when to sell and when to buy it. The fact is, it is possible to happened that bitcoin can drop to altcoin prices anytime but maybe not this year I think.There is so much volatility that causes the price of a coin rise and fall quickly, making it a risky investment without proper research carried out..

It"s possible in theory but the chance that it happens is maybe 1% or less. In reality, the thing is different. Imagine we have the Bitcoin price falling to 1000$ how would react the altcoins? 99% of chance that it follows the same path.
The chances to see Bitcoin dropping this year to the price similar to the altcoin (average) is about 0.1% and I can't imagine the drama it would be.

The best time to make an investment is when the price comes low. Right now Op has got an information that the price will come low, so it's better to wait for a little and try to make the best profit. I haven't come across any such information that bitcoin dropping to the value of altcoins. This could be a form of FUD to support the growth of altcoins or a way used to manipulate the market of altcoins as a whole.

Yes bitcoin can drop anytime soon but if you’re planning to invest in bitcoin better do so because even altcoin will increase in value this year surely bitcoin will grow even higher than the alts, there might be some good alt to invest but bitcoin has the lowest risk of failure for me you can also try investing in both so you can maximize your earnings.

sure bitcoin can possibly drop this year, hello? december is coming and people will likey cash out and withdraw their bitcoins to prepare for this  once in a lifetime season. majority of people need money to buy gifts and fireworks or foods. therefor im expecting that a hard dip will happen this december just before the christmas and new year. not only that but theres also a rumored fork that will soon to happen on the first or second week in december and this event could also hardly affect the market of bitcoin.

Who told you that?  don't believe everything you read on the internet, you won't get too far in the bitcoin world if you do.
If you want to invest in bitcoin I'd recommend you to do some proper research about how btc works, understand the pros and cons of investing in btc, and once you know what you're about to get into, do what you wanna do.

Correct sometimes the best we can do is to turn off the noise, I know it can be difficult but if you do not then you are going to lose money in the long term, those that have made profits with bitcoin are those that were able to ignore the calls of many people around the world that said that bitcoin is a scam, now those voices are getting weaker since it is getting harder to keep claiming that.

While bitcoin is an innovative technology it still follows the laws of economics, for bitcoin to crash in price the demand will have to disappear since the supply is growing at a constant rate and no one is going to burn their coins for us, so the demand is what determines the price and as long as it remains this high the price cannot crash and there are strong indications the demand it is only going to grow making the price even higher in the future.
