Bitcoin soars $8000, Is this is the best opportunity to sell BTC?
I have sold only 20% at $8k and willing to sell around 30% if price will be over $9k within this month. Now its looks like even $10,000 per bitcoin is possible by december. People all over the world are being crazy about bitcoin right now and everybody want their piece of bitcoin out of 21 million bitcoin.   |

The thread title already sounds dumb to me. "best opportunity to sell BTC"  You buy BTC and you HODL!!! It seems like you haven't understand how powerful and precious Bitcoin is. The big guys are just waiting for you to sell. They will suck up all your coins immediately and pump it to heaven. And you're gonna be left with a few thoousand bucks and will regret that big 2-3 years from now! You may take partial profits if needed. BUT NEVER SELL ALL YOUR COINS FOR F***ING FIAT!!! |

well, the current bitcoin price is so high. if I have a lot of bitcoins, I might sell them right now. this is a huge opportunity to sell bitcoin, because the $ 8000 price is a very high price. I think this price will be achieved next year. but that's all wrong.

If you are just trying to be safe what I would suggest you to do is to identify first the source of your coin if you bought your coin using your fiat what you can do is sell part of your inventory that is equivalent to your initial investment and keep the profit that you have in bitcoin. By doing this you still have a chance to earn more at the same time you are already safe in case the price dropped. Not a bad idea especially for a newbie, who probably could not have accumulated much and have living expenses to run. However for anyone that can afford to hodl their coins, at least till end of 1st quarter of 2018, by all means do! The roads seem clearer now than ever before for Bitcoin to make the lunar leap and that won't be long time coming. |

For me i think it is just a beginning for a new era for the bitcoin. i think bitcoin has the power to gain more than it. 8000$ is just a beginning of it and it will do more than it. you just have to wait for the right time to sell. i think for the investors who are willing iit to sale for good and their investment is for long term. they just have to wait an watch the few until it goes upto 25000$ and more than it. so, just hold and watch.

These are the type of people always ending up buying back their coins at significantly higher levels than where they sold them at, so they will enter the market again, that's pretty much guaranteed. If they are smart enough to learn from their mistakes, they won't dare to sell everything at once ever again, but if they are blinded by their greed too much, they will keep making the same mistake. It will be a never ending cycle for them. |

There are tons of coins in the cryptocurrency market better than Bitcoin in both technological aspect and use case. Somehow the thing that is keeping Bitcoin at top of the chart is mere profit due to increasing price. |

Well generally the advice is sell high and buy low, right now you'd suggest bitcoin is high given it was at 5500 only a week or so ago, however many, myself included feel bitcoin will rise further beyond this 8k figure in a reasonably near time frame. |

believe it or not December prices soared to $12,000 I take my own conclusions as a layman and still fairly newbie in traders ,last month bitcoin fluctuated greatly up to $6000 then this month bitcoin up $2000 more mid-november and I think bitcoin december hit target almost $12,000 ,it all depends on whether you want to sell now or later |

I try to buy bitcoin on the dips, but can't tell you how many times I have bought at an all time high, and each time I look back and say:
"yeah, I'm glad I bought when I did".
Maybe in a few years we all look back and say
"Wow, I can't believe we used to be able to get a bitcoin for only $8,000."
Or maybe it's:
"I can't believe we didn't see that bubble from a mile away."
Do whatever you think, but I'm definitely hodling.

It's your choice if you want to sell your bitcoin to that price . But be careful of what decision you made because they have possible the price will increase more and if that happen you will lose profit if you sell your bitcoin. Because possible the price of bitcoin will become 10k dollars. But I hope the price of the bitcoin will continue to increase so we can make more profit.

No.Don't get excited on seeing this price.Bitcoin deserves more than this.As there is no threat now for bitcoin near by,we could expect bitcoin to continue to move in bullish trend through out this year.
Unless you have desperate need for money,don't ever sell your bitcoins.China's threat is already over.Roger ver's motive to pump BCH and replace bitcoin with BCH has failed.Also,segwit2x activation has got cancelled since a block of more than 1 MB size could not be found to activate segwit 2x and split the chain.
More over,we have not seen the positive effects of CME entering bitcoin market fully.
So,bitcoin could even cross $10,000 by 2017 end and so holding bitcoins would be better.

Best way to decide on selling your coin is to sell your capital investment and just hold your profit, by doing so you will sure that you are not going to loose your investment. But if everyone do the same expect that the price of Bitcoin will drop because of the volume of the sales. But personally I am holding my coins until the price reach $15,000 and will sell 50% of it by that time. Just keep on trusting bitcoin and you should earn in the long run.

I think bitcoin prices are still going to increase and it would be better if keep bitcoin for the next few years,
I believe with bitcoin advancement that keeps improving all time with the increasing population of users in various countries of course this will have a good impact on the development of bitcoin in future.

I dont think that this time of the year is the best to sell Bitcoin, what i would suggest to you is that hold and earn as much bitcoin as you could possible can and at the end of the mining period were all 21 million coins have been mined thats were you should sell bitcoin.

While most people here are already talking about selling Bitcoin even at this price level my opinion is you need to think about it yourself. We don't even know at what price did you bought your Bitcoin shares are. If you are contented with selling your Bitcoin now then sell it without any hesitstion and if the prices still soars don't think of it as a waste of opportunity, just think about selling Bitcoin at a gain as many people have experienced cutting losses.
