As i understand it, transactions get logged in blocks and everytime a block is mined a miner get rewarded a coin.

What happens when all blocks, 21miljon, is mined. How do the transactions get logged/saved?

Since no more blocks will be mined they can't be saved in the blockchain, right?

The answer is rather simple, blocks will continue to be mined. What you are confusing is the reward trending towards 0 with a cessation of the mining system. This simply doesn't happen.

Rather simply, mining will continue with 0 rewards.
