People aren't still interested in this coin or just too desperate because they got trapped in it? It's a shame how the team forces people to stay interested in something it scammed them so they don't sell with like 95% loss.

Did you update wallet to the new 1.4? Cryptopia is already on the new chain since they finished with maintenance, you must be in the old chain if you didn't update wallet go to monkey website and download the new one http://monkey.community/ you don't need to delete your data just download the new wallet and run 1.4 version.

I connected to 6 connetions but only sync 16430 blocks.

 Few wallets are getting stuck at certain blocks and taking time to sync . Due to few wallets are still are on old chain it  is causing trouble..For wallets facing this issue try clearing all leaving wallet.dat and try restarting again.  NOTE:  While doing this  making sure wallet is closed.. For some wallets it works for 1..2..3..or after few tries ..No need to worry the problem is already passed on to dev..But for temporary u can try the  said option

 If you have sync issues:

1.  Download this files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OFloCiZnlu2vWXWaVqND8PzYJmWNknSz/view?usp=sharing
2. Backup your wallet.dat
3. Clear everything except wallet.dat
4. Put in files from zip and restart wallet.

Ya i guess you're right it's just frustrating/annoying that if the price goes sideways or down the project becomes a "scam".
