I hope this ends up well, I am sick of old SIGT.
When STRAKS hit Hitbtc, price should stabilize imho.

Let's hope for that. If anything, I can wait for this coin since I swapped my Signatums and now have to wait 44 months to receive full amount Smiley That should be more than enough time to see where the project is going.

To my mind, at the beginning price shouldn't rise up on HitBTC because of many coins (swap), but it won't go down below current price. In longer period it should raise, especially if devs will maintain their job and there will be... second big exchange.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

many coins (swap)? there was a 4:1 ratio sigt to straks and you get only low amount per week over 4 years. there is a higher mining ratio.

If I calculate properly there is 10 straks per 1 minute (block) = 60 per hour = 1440 daily = 43200 per month. People will receive totally 20mln Straks in 4 years. So at the first glimpse it isn't optimistic because it is higher than mining rate.
Big hope in the fact that people will not sell their swapped Straks immediately which may make situation worse (panic like Bitcoin price drops).

It's just my prediction, but with current situation, maintaining, developing things mentioned in roadmap, swaps etc. I predict ~40$ per one Strak in the end of year.
But there people should HODL to help to raise it's prise and publicity, devs would keep their good job and Straks should has one more big exchange (except smaller).

But still I'm nobody in that big cryptoworld and there are better than me with predictions etc.

If someone wants to dump, he could do that already, so he means exactly what he wrote.

That's why the current swap mechanics works in the way to protect holders from getting huge amounts of coins that could flood the market.

No, maybe drop to to 6-7$ from current 8$. But then should raise even swap. Difficult to determine, especially that sotcks.exchange doesn't work properly. Many coins hasbig price when they got their first exchange, and second when they enter at second one. Price stabilises and another doesn't make big difference but there are few exceptions. I hope Straks will join to them :>

Icedevil stop being sorrow after missing the swap. You have been actively pumping SIGT just before swap - effectively you are the reason swap ended early.
You have shot yourself in the foot and now just trolling.

haha sigt bagholder who missed the swap is now fulltime fud'er  Grin

@icedevil: do you have some kind of mental issues? I'm serious, because all you do: You accuse the devs of being dishonest, and on the other hand you expect that your bullshit is not deleted?
Also, what do you want to say with your complete out of context screenshots? Someone who want's to sell a swap account where the buyer cannot change the payout address, and the seller can just keep the secret key? So, most likely scam. And the other screenshot of ppl wondering who the devs really are (which is a legit question, but no one has to reveal himself. Just don't invest then, simple as that).

It's really getting old to see your stupid nonsense all over again, and I seriously hope that the mods will just ban your account. In case you did not notice so far: you are the one and only person spamming this thread. You claim to speak for ALL the people in discord. You do not speak for me. I'm in discord. Also, no one else out of ALL the people in discord is spamming here like a butthurt brat.

Which Exchanges are planning and when to buy STRAKS?

STRAKS will be launching on HitBTC in February. The exact date will be published across all STRAKS communication channels as soon as it is established.

Is there any mechanism in place that helps STRAKS deal with volatility? I think especially in the e-commerce space that's a big problem and maybe a stable coin will have much better chances to be successful in that area.

Right now the supply is somewhat low so volatility is determined by supply and demand. As more coins are dispersed through the system and STAK starts showing up on higher-volume exchanges, the price should start to even out a little more.

Another scam coin. STRAKS Developers pulled the shady swap, what makes new buyers think it wont happen again? Just a cheap move to lower the total supply. Anyone holding SIGT is now screwed.
