It could take several months, there's so many people looking to get their accounts unlocked, and Cyrus is swamped, due to him being the only one unlocking the accounts. I don't think theymos actively does it anymore, but I may be mistaken. Maybe, in the future there will be other staff members dedicated to unlocking accounts, but for now you just have to be patient and send them a reminder every week or two without spamming. |

o men a scummbag hacked my hold account, and start spamming idiotic messages in my name, my fault for using low security passwords, had to lock it, and after read this message i think i am not going to get my account back anytime soon, 5 years with it! damn it  You've locked it so they can't keep on using your name surely in 5 years you posted an address to the forum? if so its as easy as signing the address with a message and you'll eventually get it back. |

maybe you use another ip in oneday to login your account, they will not doing lock account without any reason as well. need to keep in mind, don't use another ip than your own. it will be detected by this forum. so, if you found by moderator doing a suspicious action, you will absolutely banned or locked. but in your case, seems like you change your email and password and after doing that, you get locked. waiting for theymos or cyrus to recover your account, but they very rarely to recover an account, if you can't prove that you're the owner, you will permanently banned, means that you better to make new account.

When I try to log into mine, it says it hasn't been approved. I was gone for an extended period of time, and I think thats why.

Recently, my account has been changed by the hacker password and mail account bitcointalk. Specifically, I received a message from this forum. And I clicked on the link and locked the account. I have read through to reopen the account but in my profile there is no Bitcoin address link, but I have the Location link: ETH address and I have the link to the website. In this case, I need to authenticate how to reopen my account. Thank you. |
