Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of BCH is languishing in segwit addresses. The funds were mistakenly sent there by users who have no easy way of differentiating segwit and non-segwit addresses. Retrieving the funds is difficult, but not entirely impossible, as p2sh.info’s Antoine Le Calvez has revealed. He’s discovered what’s believed to be the first successful bitcoin cash recovery, aided by the miners who confirmed the transaction.

Expect more and more such problems, given that the number of forks that Bitcoin has gone through. Theoretically, if you control the private keys, there should be a method (long drawn or otherwise) to recover the coins. But it sucks if you send coins to an exchange and they just shrug their shoulders saying "Your Mistake"

Does that mean they can retrieve any bitcoin cash sent to any address through the help of the miners? This is troubling news to be honest if that is the fact. I am a bit confused as to what this really means for anyone. Does this mean that if, for example, I mixed up the bitcoin cash and bitcoins and I sent my bitcoin cash to an address I thought was for bitcoins (obviously I do not have the private key of that bitcoin cash address) then I technically could retrieve it? What if I did not own the private key of the bitcoin address counterpart? Too much confusion here.

"He’s discovered what’s believed to be the first successful bitcoin cash recovery, aided by the miners who confirmed the transaction". It may sound cool but it's not cool. A flaw on BCH, What will Jihan Wu and Roger Ver say to this?, for Jihan Wu, you think recovering coins aided by miners are very satoshi nakamoto? and for Roger Ver ,is this how satoshi envisioned Bitcoin, for you to claim that BCH is the real Bitcoin? Clearly the ANSWER IS NO.

Thanks to this article, this can be a definite tool to defend BTC and a proof that BCH is not perfect and has it's own flaws and should not be worshiped by the community, it doesn't even deserve to be compared with Bitcoin. Community members who love BCH and BCH shillers should read this article for them to realize that they supported a wrong coin and BCH will continue to grow if they continue on supporting it, so go back to Bitcoin, This flaw will be a massive problem in the future of BCH.
