OriginTrail Vostok Mainnet — Node Update v2.0.50 https://medium.com/origintrail/origintrail-vostok-mainnet-node-update-v2-0-50-15ec276e89fc

What Does the v2.0.50 Release Bring?
Apart from several small improvements and patches for issues discovered during network operation, the team has focused on two main improvements to node operation.

The first important improvement is adding additional support for node connectivity with Ethereum, lowering the dependency on RPC services like Infura’s API.

The second major update is an enhancement in the replication solution mining algorithm, which was designed to improve the bidding mechanism on the mainnet.

as I see from discussions on reddit biggest problem people that are running Orgintrail nodes are facing is that some are getting a lot of jobs while others none.  Two examples was that someone got 15 jobs and have his node running less time then the other guy who got none.  I am not really sure if this was already solved in OriginTrail Vostok Mainnet — Node Update v2.0.50

Is there something like http://www.blocktivity.info/ for the OT nodes and transactions?
Since the project and the technology is in its early days... Why not simulate load in the main net with some mock-up transactions?
150.000 Or 1.500.000 job per day sound more realistic to me of it comes to supply chain for retail.

The Bittrex pump is not far away.  Grin

I have no ideas. But serious projects should have a stagnet where to simulate how would work  when overloaded with jobs and no need to stress the actual platform with strestests.

New Poultry Provenance Consumer App Powered by OriginTrail

I actually eat a lot of their poultry, since I am white meat addict, so might check it Tongue      But in general. The best advertisement for a product is if it is used and it seems OrginTrail is.
