Hello everyone!

Just purchased 6 Rx470 Rig, and i am thinking whether should i mine in the room i sleep?

How does electric magnetic field radiation works?
My room is close ended, i don't open windows.

The distance within the rig and my bed are around 62 Inch / 1.6 Metre

Next, the rig is just right under my feet where i would usually use my laptop there, is that harmful towards my health or i am okay to go?

Thanks

I used to have two mining rigs in my bedroom in a flat when I started out. Mining isn't any more dangerous than any other computer magnetic radiation-wise. You can google the effects of computer generated EMF.
The noise can be annoying for some or even harmful (disturb your sleep) but I didn't mind at all since it was a constant background noise.

I had a window open at all times though.

Just make sure to de-dust them frequently and of course don't plan it to be a permament solution, try to find a place for the rig elsewhere.

try to find a place for the rig elsewhere. might be the only solution left haha
Although i can move it to the third floor, but im worry that the temperature there might be hot as the air ventilation seems bad there because the room is small.

However, if i could get a oscillator bladeless fan dedicated for the rig, is it okay?

I would think the one of the biggest dangers would be the rig catches fire and you are overcome by smoke asphyxiation before being burned alive in your sleep. If the rig is located elsewhere in your house there is time for the smoke detector to catch it first and wake you up, but a rapidly spreading fire in your bedroom may not even give you that opportunity.

In addition to the fire risk, the constant dry air and heat in your room causing could cause health problems.

Try to use your rig for one week and you understand, what need to place your rig in other place.
Dry weather and 24/7 EMF not good for human

Apart from breathing dry air and possible noise influence on your sleep, nothing really harmful Smiley

Totally agree with you, the dry air and heat + noise is definitely not something you should get used too.

It’s about as dangerous as having a computer on in your room 24/7. Whether it’s dangerous is mostly your own opinion, most reports of radiation from computers are inconclusive and imo the most you’ll be getting is noise and more heat in a room. If it does catch fire you could die from smoke inhalation, though.

If there is no way to put mining rigs elsewhere than you could make a closed box with noise reduction and ventilation.

I put some water container in the bedroom to make the room humid.

In the winter no problems.
In the summer you will need a humidifier.

Small window open at all times. And i have humidifier.

I have my rig at home, but i never wanted to have it in my bedrrom for several reasons:
1. it generates heat, that i don't need in bedrrom
2. it is noisy
3. my wife hates it Smiley

My thought is you will get outgassing of the thermal paste between the processors and heatsinks as well as some possible solder (lead) outgassing as well.  As far as the heat is concerned those would be the risks.  But if they are WIFI then you will get a pretty big wifi dose which could be the worst part of it.  Also electric field which can be harmful as well.  You can get RF EMF meters I have the cornet electrosmog.

noise is not an issue with propper hardware and heavy undervolting, but some gpus have shitty LED and lights, even risers start having LED, what a crap.

On the contrary, in the winter, such a rig helps me to keep the heat in my room and I do not feel any harm. But in the summer I have to take it out to non-residential premise, because it gets too hot.

Add humidifier and use a hydrometer in your room to track relative humidity levels in room.
Keep pedestal fan near window to ensure fresh supply of air; open room door to increase ventilation.
