About 1 week the ICO will end. I expected them to do something. This stage is difficult. They did not update anything about the progress of the project, which made me unhappy
With no update while the token sale still active could decrease the chance to attract more people to join. This is for sure will give a bad feeling to the earlier investors. it does seem that way. Wish they would provide something to us. communication is vital for success. They might be happy with reaching the soft cap. They will certainly come back after the ICO, I guess.  |

No, this is no excuse! Dev was here yesterday. What did he/she doing here while his/her ICO is running? Maybe looking for a good signature campaign or maybe looking for some interesting posts in Bitcoin Forum > Other > Meta? Bullshit! If I would make an ICO, I would look at least 1 time per day in the biggest forum of crypto, BTCT or I would delegate somebody if I had less time. And if I would read such statements as "fishy" and "scam" I would immediately write: "Hey guys, dont worry, we have many things to do now, but we assure you, that we read your postings." I also hope the devs will communicate soon, it’s very important for a project and especially for an ico that devs team communicate a lot and answers all the questions. It’s better for investors trust.

No, I also think that new people are coming into crypto daily, it just has slowed down a little bit because the sentiment of the media has changed since cryptocurrencies peaked in January. With negative news all day being around there are less people willing to take the risk, but I believe that sentiment will change again soon.
It also due to stricter strategies on authorities in many countries. In my opinion, it's good with such stricter rules from local authorities because they will help to minimize potential risks of losing money on scamming projects (ICOs, and masternode-projects, and so on) for naive investors and crypto-ecosystem newcomers. Take more risks don't equal to take more profits. Be careful yourself and take profits. It's a very difficult issue and really hard to resolve. Government intervention is a double-edge sword for sure. If you check out what Milton Friedman says about government intervention, he explains very well how that slows down innovation and wealth creation. Check out some videos on youtube! It's normal to slow things down, the only thing Goverments do is put up barriers and hinder progress to have control and raise money. ^I pretty much agree with you there. that's why we've had such an explosion of ICO's and projects in the past years. this has been a free market. But government won't be the solution in the long run. We can't always wait for the government to impose strict rules and we have to follow those rules as if we were sheep. I am all for decentralization and strong technology that guides us to make the right decisions. Through effective economic incentives for example, much like Bitcoin works. |

Maybe we have a chance now for crypto social media. A lot of people and companies starting to delete or at least stop using facebook for advertisment thanks to the big data abuse scandal.
I have been thinking about it too, but some websites that needs to be login with facebook. So Im stuck for a while. Maybe remove personal contents. Will gladly move to Sphere after this. I only use Facebook because of my spotify account, besides that i stopped using it and i have so many people around stopped using facebook due to some privacy concerns, which seems true after latest news. So Sphere can thrive with the privacy side of social media. I must say it's quite naive to just now find out Facebook knows too much about you and isn't always using it respectfully To avoid arguments it's best to do some research before sharing too much opinions. If there isn't a data privacy problem. No one would state the issue in the case of facebook there was a data privacy problem. anyway I think people will start to jump ship to other social media platforms. regardless of the data scandal i think that now the time of facebook has passed, and become obsolete, old, i think that sphere can be a viable alternative, perhaps the best... I think such events will strongly accelerate the process of innovation in the field because people are now creating demand for improved social networks and they make that clear by taking legal action against them. Yes, facebook created a hole and it gives another opportunity for other parties to patch it. It will be interesting whether Facebook even considers to implement something like blockchain. Experts on some public media channels have been discussing that option. Yeah, I would like to call it a blessing in disguise that will motivate people to look for other alternative social media platforms. Not sure if they actively look for alternatives but such incidents give room for very well targeted advertising campaigns from projects like Sphere. I think it will still take quite some time until Sphere and others might go mainstream. And exactly that is the problem. They are very weak in grabbing a chance and using it to their advantage. Insted, theese meaningless advertizements appears here from time to time. What are those meaningless advertisements you are talking about? This situation just occurred so they might see a chance in preparing something that suits this. |

Yes sphere has already reach his softcap so no problem I thin even if they don’t raise so much money. It’s not so easy these day with this market to raise money, hit the softcap is a sucess in fact.
You are right, the market is really to be in poor condition in comparison with January month, but don't need so much to worry about! Now the market is at the level of September 2017. RIght , I remember bitcoin below 700 during winters. I think the stable price is around 4 or 5k. There are alot of people waiting for more dips  Just read that the BTC OTC market demand is booming: several buyers for multiple multi-billion dollar blocks. |
