Ok quick update the new client/wallet should be available to the public at the beginning of October. The work has been done and will start sending out to services etc first. I will be compiling it this weekend for some test and then hopefully we can get the ball rolling again and get GLC where it should be.... Right next to Bitcoin

Saw this interesting addition to Earthcoin. It's intended to stop private mining attacks overriding (orphaning) blocks that have matured, but it should also stop two chains fighting with each other - the perpetual massive reorganisations, like we saw several months ago with GLC...
