Can anyone explain why reward decreased so drastically over the last week or two for most NEOSCRIPT algorithms? Is this related to more people mining these coins/difficulty change or something else as looks a huge drop to be affected just by minners number/difficulty change? A week ago I was able to get 2coins of GBX and now can not get even 1coin.
Dude, GBX went from $35 to $80 in a week. Of course difficulty will go up. So to answer my question is more miners? I do understand when it becomes more profitable to mine people switch to another altcoin but so much in a week? |

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Dude, GBX went from $35 to $80 in a week. Of course difficulty will go up. So to answer my question is more miners? I do understand when it becomes more profitable to mine people switch to another altcoin but so much in a week? Yes, more miners. And also NiceHash and the likes farm. Once a coin becomes too profitable NiceHash users focus insane amount of hashrate to a single coin increasing its difficulty by a lot. NiceHash and alike are cancer for the mining community. |

It seems to me that the coin is slightly overbought, i. Expensive. Does it make sense to buy it for investment? I think that you can not do it on her already?
It is a big bubble that will blow and a lot of people in this will loose money fast! Coin has nothing new, just a hype. Price is insane. Bitcoin has allready seen it's top. Just a mather of time before the system with masternodes will fall down. It keeps pumping te bubble till first masternode holders will start cashing. This rise is no normal way of healthy market sircumstances. Just a mather of wanting more and more. Classic bubble by al ways and means. Play it smart and you end up with a lot. Even coins with no active dev team are going to the moon. Insane! Make hay while the sun shines!!! Newbie with 6 posts. Please take that in considerations before listening to market specialists on internet forums. Newby says nothing on how I see this! I warned allready for this pyramid system we are all taking part in. Do you see what is happening at the moment? You can call me newby again with 7 posts but what I told you this would happen. There is a lot money to maken, but system is cracking!! I also experienced that you can not allways sell your coins. When everybody starts to sell, you will not be able to sell for current price. Stocks can simple not handle it and there will be no demand. Everybody wants a node!!! System had been going crazy! First huge market correction since holding gobyte and the price has done fairly well compared to other masternode coins,
we made a low in btc around 350ksats and have since come back up over 400ksats.
Shows there is major support for this coin going forward, the price action is very similar to other masternode coins in that when
btc drops there is less volatility because there isn't as many speculators in these markets.
Also want to say that the recent fud is only fud and gobyte is a legitimate coin with solid team and future.

Someone is not letting this coin go down. I noticed this long before the crash. Every time BTC dipped, GBX went up, and vice versa. Someone was making sure they cash out and get 50% more out of their GBX. |

Dear GoByte Community, On UniMining.net mining pool, Load balancing was introduced on GBX dedicated stratum (port 4236) few days ago. Fine tuning of load balancing was performed to avoid stratum interruptions and invalid shares. Today, more redundancy was introduced to reduce load on stratum instances to enhance mining. It was also added for coins with massive hashrate on the pool. You may have experienced some hashrate drops prior to this enhancement and stratum interruptions in recent days. Sorry for the issues encountered during the maintenance, it leaded to more stable mining. I am afraid there is nothing we can do. That is an issue caused by Cryptopia deposit trigger. Open a ticket and wait around 7 days. |
