You already try to clean the machines? or power off for a couple of hours and start again?

I have 75 T1s from may/2018, only last week i have 8 dead hashboards, in a total of 12 total (since the month that i receive) Im mining at slush too but i dont think this is the problem.

I will try turning off for 2 hours.

What firmware are you running I am running   t1_20180511_034450.swu

its one of the only ones so far that actually shows 3 boards most of the rest so far just show 2.

Hi guys

so on my last purchase of t1, out of 8 units 5 have issues with boards.

Some have 0 boards working, some have boards going up but crashing in the next 3-5 min

I tried changing the psus with working bitmain ones and no difference
I updated to the last FW and switched out the data cables on the spare plugs on the controller

The red light keeps flashing on the faulty boards (as when it's auto tuning) but i tried running them through 24h and it's still auto tuning.

Also some boards are written "dead" and others "alive" with a 5-600ghs hashrate, is there a difference between each ?

I'll look into the kernel log next time I get there and see if there's info, but from what I read I believe the miners have had shock during transportation and the boards are overheating and burning due to bad contact between the thermal compound and rad/chip, looking for input or something I skipped for the diagnostic process

Cheers,
Q.

Have a few T1's which just got burnt from where the PSU connects to the miner. Any idea what can be the reason? It is toasted.

Occasionally check the connections between the PSU cables and the miner.  Slow vibration and heat over time can slowly separate the internal metal connections ever so slightly.  This leads to resistance and creates heat (and lead to melting/fire).

Metal corrosion of the internal connections can speed this process as well (another reason why controlling relative humidity is important).  A manufacturer can cheap out on the quality of the internal socket pins and if they use an unplated or thinner variety, they will heat up when heavy current is passing through.

A T1 will draw on balanced between 1480-1530W.  So a 1800W Bitmain APW7 PSU is a good alternative that would work with plenty of available headroom.  And remember, you should be running on 240V, not 120V.

I think thats all the firmware that was released specifically for the Dragonmint.

Innosilicon firmware isn't guaranteed to work and I think they remove the old firmware

Actually I just checked and I have a copy of that firmware, I'll put it up here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h5wITp761yeM0r-UXXfAQ2KHpU-uk-zU/view?usp=sharing
