Chart from 2014, when Bitcoin was $300, predicted price of $10k for today — Nov 22nd, 2017. We're at $8,200. (If we add Bitcoin Cash and Gold prices, we'll get close to $10k). Next milestone on chart: $100k in summer 2021. And next: $1M in 2027. I don't see bitcoin reaching up to $1 million in 10 years . Bitcoin growth rate is really appreciating but there will be a limit to it at some point for sure . In 10 years , maybe the 21 million supply of bitcoin gets finished and the only way of accessing and trading bitcoin is through circulation . Then it would not be likely for bitcoin to go upto $1 million . Yes , bitcoin is very volatile and these days it is touching heights but taking such assumptions at such early stage can be pretty dis-heartening in the future.

One thing is for sure that it will be pretty hard for Bitcoin to achieve that kind of price level even in a span of 10 years. Why? Because of the Buyer's confidence every time Bitcoin's price goes higher all traders will have their confidence lessen as people will start to think that it will fall harder or more often and they are right to think so because the price of Bitcoin will be so volatile and price jumps will be more higher.

I think some altcoin will replace bitcoin because 10 years is too long and people are going to decide and choose a coin that is better than bitcoin.

$1 million is quite a lot, i don't think we'll see $1 million per bitcoin just in 10 years, might take long, might not even happen. I think some altcoin will replace bitcoin because 10 years is too long and people are going to decide and choose a coin that is better than bitcoin.
Not gonna happen! altcoins will try their best to be #1, but they will fail miserably. bitcoin always remain #1.

I don't think this possible, it may rather reach $500k in 10 years, but not $1m is way too much... Forget about the graph and chart predictions they are not always right.

Never actually read charts, but this chart here makes a lot of difference to all who are planning to get into Bitcoins or those who even have them, I don't even know if this is pure luck he had or this guy actually got some kind of vision. I am really sure most of the people will want to hold onto this coin and see it up and up we go.

Here we go again. Predictions are coming and people are saying "No, it will not happeen!" Then suddenly look at where we are now. They will say it is impossible and yet why are we seeing this expensive price. I dont agree much with all of this but somehow I changed. Although 1 million is far away, why not? It could happen because unlike fiat, this item is so rear and will be more extinct someday.

Let us not clump bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold together with bitcoin, they have no bearing on each oher
Even Jimmy Song (bitcoin developer) considers a Bitcoin to be 1 BTC + 1 BCH

I ran into this chart in 2014 post of one of crypto specialists from Adamant Research financial company (they specialize in bitcoin and blochchain investments), and found it very interesting. That guy said he had taken the chart from reddit. This is all I know

These predictions are really making me cringe. $1,000,000 for ten years why not? I will be one of the richest person in my family and this is going to be enough for the rest of my life. And by that time I'm quite older and have a family to feed still I'm waiting for this to come. I want it and if possible let it make earlier, make it happen as soon as possible.

I think it is too fast for Bitcoin to reach those heights. 1 million dollar is a serious value and going there in just ten years seems to be too good to be true. I admit that I want Bitcoin to reach that, however, it seems dangerous for Bitcoin to pump that fast. A slow and steady growth is still beneficial for Bitcoin.

There has been no slow and steadily growth until now, but was very fast , on the contrary:). And there is no sign of calming down, especially with Increasing adoptance by financial institutions .

There has been a significant increase in the market value of Bitcoin since 2014 and speculating that Bitcoin value will reach $1 million for just 1 Bitcoin by 2027 is a possibility that may happen. Although I believe the speculation should be put in probability on whether it will come to fulfilment or not and i strongly believe that Bitcoin market value Will increase significantly but not to the turn of $1 million by 2027.

Is it possible that in ten years bitcoin worth 1 million $?Of course it is possible, but in my opinion it is difficult to achieve that goal.To achieve this, there should be a steady growth of 50%+ over the next 10 years, which certainly is not impossible if we take into account this year's level of growth. So if we end this year with 10 000$ price and try to calculate that price increase 50% for next ten years we get this numbers: 2017. 10 000$ 2018. 15 000$ 2019. 22 500$ 2020. 33 750$ (halving) 2021. 50 625$ 2022. 75 937$ 2023. 113 905$ 2024. 170 857$(halving) 2025. 256 185$ 2026. 384 427$ 2027. 576 640$ 2028. 864 960$(halving) It would be wonderful if half of these speculations become a reality,I personally aim at 100k per BTC and I am hope to see that price in next 5 years

Lets say someone want to invest in bitcoin 1000$. With million $$ price investor will get 0.001BTC and will pay 500$ fees for next transaction. It is easiest example why bitcoin can't reach million dollars.

Right now we're very small in number compared to that of the paper money usage. In an approximation we might be contributing around 1% of the world population. By now we've got to be over $8000 and when the user community increases, then surely we'll surely reach $1m.
