Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?

I don't think Ethereum can reach $1,000 in 2018 because they are way too many Ether in circulation which is about 96 million ether. bitcoin is valuable because there are only 16 million bitcoins in circulation currently and it has a limited supply which is 21 million bitcoins in total.

There is nothing impossible in crypto currency world. But it depends on bitcoin.

   I have same experience with Ethereum like I had with Bitcoins couple months ago. I invested some
money in Etereheum to day`s ago when price was $450, now Ethereum is down. When I bought Bitcoins
first time on +$3000 price dropped short after on $2500. After months of waiting Bitcoin price is very high.
   I do not worry for Ethereum drop, I see my self as a long term holder and I believe that Ethereum price
will be much higher then $1000, that is just a mental barrier that needs to be crossed, after that price can
go much higher.

The price has been going down for several days already. I think that this will continue until the bitcoin ceases its rapid growth. Then the price of ETH will fly up to 1000 dollars

I think that in the near future we will not see such a price. Too many problems have been revealed in the ethereum system over the past few days. Transactions went up by 10-20 times. The fastest price will drop to 300 dollars, than it will rise to 1000 dollars. This is my humble opinion.

(may be not 5000% but i cant calculate it now, i'm very tired) In the past month ether rallied by over  150$. At the end of the year it can be about 600-700 dollars.

Suppose it will not hit this target. Yes Ethereum is growing, and it will reach a thousand dollars mark, but it can happen later, not earlier than the spring comes. Now there is some problems with speed in network, hope everything will be ok...

I am only 3 months playing with eth and its value in the market is always increasing, that's good.
my initial preview is only $ 500 and now it's $ 470 more, likely to be $ 1,000 by 2018.

Ethereum is my favorite crypto.I have 27 ETH & i think ETH hot alt coin in marketplace because many project fully ETH platform based.
Eth will be hit 2000$ of course possible in 2018 last month until.I hope your plan will be 100% success.

i agree , maybe hard to reach $1000 end this year , maybe will middle-next year , just my prediction.
because day by day , ethereum transaction its so slow , because of crypto-kitties game make ethereum transaction heavy , most transaction can complete using 21gwei , but now eth need 51gwei for completing transaction for like normal transaction time.
how long this will go ? hard to withdraw if using low gas , need to wait 8-10 hours for complete transaction if using gas lower than 51gwei.

No, this definitely will not happen. Now the coin is cheaper, but not more expensive. Therefore, it will not be able to reach $ 1000 in two months. This is just unreal

I am not sure if Ethereum can reach this level in 2018, but it seems a bit hard to happen, especially if the problems of its blockchain still like nowadays, it will not encourage the new investors to tarde or use this coin.

I doubt that the etherium will reach the 1000 mark in 2018 I think that this will happen somewhere in the middle of 2018 or until bitcoin has not been managed to grow at such a speed

My guess is that ETH won't be able to reach that amount in the beginning of 2018 and I think the reason for this is the Kitties I hear complains about transaction speed issues of ETH which was caused by the so called CryptoKitties game. This will indeed slow down ETH's price increase.

This can really be one of the problems, why Ethereum will be difficult to reach such a mark. Also, as far as I understand, at the beginning of the new year the crypto-currency market will not be very active. Is not it?

The price will not rise to $1000 in the coming months. Perhaps the end of next year, the price will rise, but not now.

Wouldnt mind ethereum catching a wake up and mooning a bit again. I missed the first moon from when it was 30 dollars to 300 dollars... That was about 7 or 8 months ago? It think its due time now hehe
