Be careful if you choose a long-term investment with the altcoin because you need to choose the right altcoin to buy so you can make a big profit in the future. Right now, there are too many altcoins that could be potential to rise in the future, and if you can buy at the low price, you will get much amount of the altcoin, and you can make a big profit too.

It is already a given that when you decide to invest on something, you should know already what kind of investment is that because if there are some events that may affect the price of that altcoin then you can act fast. If you want to invest in a coin for the long term, it would be a good idea to take profit from time to time so that when the market is not doing good then you can adjust your holdings by either accumulating more if you have extra funds or selling it earlier and maybe incur a little loss and then buy back later on when it has a cheaper price.

Investing in a coin for the long term is too risky for me because coins are unpredictable and price is very volatile that's why as much as possible when you have the chance to take profit then you should grab it.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Based on the understanding and knowledge of following up with the cryptocurrency for the past 6 month, my inference is that the cryptocurrency is highlt volatile.

Is it a good approach to stay invested for long term in the altcoin space?
In this, you are right, you just need to find the right coins to make the holding profitable. Consider ripple, ether and eos. Especially ripple now shows the growth of capitalization.

Altcoin is great for long-term investments and many people have proven and made profits. All investments must have risks, but we must dare to invest. Investing in some Altcoin is very important because we can get profits in the future.

If you invest in an altcoin which has a future and potential, why not? The important thing here is to decide which altcoin to choose. Some of altcoins which has a value about $0.01 in the past, now they are $1.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, so investing in it for long-term is ok, but investing and holding an altcoin for long-term is not a good idea. You should adopt buy down and sell high for short period of time.

It depends on what coin is. You should thoroughly investigate before investing. But there are still a lot of mistakes. Especially in the current market situation. Cheap buy, expensive sales. This is the task.

I don't think so, too many altcoins are going not stable right now, and I think only bitcoin is for long term investment

I would say this is the best idea because market is very unstable and everyday trading is very dangerous now. You will never guess what price will be tomorrow

You do not tell to us in which altcoin you are thinking about being invested for the long term, I say this because there are many altcoins that are very good and that without a doubt deserve that you hold those coins for a very long time, but most of the altcoins especially those that are being released right now are not very good and I will not recommend anyone to hold them.
