Yes. ETH has already reached to about 400USD and i think that at the end of december it pass 500USD. This was a very good journey from low point to the peak. 2018 will bring some attractive things that will be beneficial for the investors of ETH. In future may be in coming year it woll reach to 1000USD. Just have a faith in ETH and invest in it of you want to earn profits.

I hope so but it will take more years before it reaches the 1000$, the eth price now was 50% of 1000$, many tokens were created with a high value. ETH price will not stuck in 400$ it will flow at the price 1000$ and above, just wait and hold for your eth for a long time because you will benefit a lot. |

it is the question of time, but it might be easier for BTC to break 10k compare to ETH breaking 1k. lets see what is the effect of ETH reaching ATH now.

there is a big chance to reach 0.12 btc (btc=8100$) . I hope btc stop to rising this time than we can expect eth = 0.15 btc . Ethereum best altcoin on market. it s fast and cheacp for tranfers and many token has built on it and this will continue. There is no competitor ( neo or lisk can't be competitor for now). Next year casper will come and eth will be not anymore a POW coin but POS coin. I have heard and read for POS you need 1000 eth but i read yesterday for POS maybe you need 300 eth but im not sure. So people will collect eth now. Buy eth now and never be regret and HODL for long term  |

ETH has good potential to reach that target in the long term like 1 year+. Short term it looks very unrealistic. There is heavy resistance at $450. If it crosses and hold above that level then it will moon to $600+. But if Bitcoin crashes in the upcoming months ago the ETH targets will become invalid. Yes btc fork there so some times eth may not forword so much. |

Present condition of ETH, it will reach to 500$ only because BCC is also generating great volumes along with Bitcoin. So i think present condition there is huge competition for Bitcoin in coming days.

My opinion may be unpopular here, but eventually ETH will match or surpass BTC maketcap. Just like Facebook surpassed Myspace. It won't happen overnight, but 1-2 years is a safe estimate. It all comes down to tech fundamentals and the development community. There's a reason why developers are flocking to Ethereum, and why Bitcoin can't even agree on simple protocol upgrades without having to fork.... Of course, nobody really knows for certain what will happen, so take my comments with a huge grain of salt... But to me the risk/reward is very clear and favorable towards ETH in the long term. |

Reach to 1000$-2000$ I know it sounds crazy, but you have to consider that right now nobody outside a very small circle even knows about Ethereum, but most people have at least heard about Bitcoin..... If Ethereum has just 1 or 2 successful dapps that get the mainstream using it, or simply if institutional investors start coming in (which they will be very soon), then really 6k is not that unrealistic. That would be a 575b marketcap. Gold for comparison is about a 7t marketcap. Most people a year ago would not believe you if you said BTC would be 10k, look at it now... |

$1000 is a big hurdle. Doesn't psychology come in to it with buyers resisting allowing it to break the 1k, therefore offering say $998.88 etc? Still I don't see how $1000 can come so fast. I will be looking to see what happens. BTW in invested with ETH so if it does 1k im happy
