Dash — currency of the future?

I always believed that DASH is a great cryptocurrency. And the events of these days have shown I was not mistaken. Now, when this altcoin has shown such an awesome growth, do you believe that it can be a currency of the future?

I literally never believed this currency only because I thought it will drop to zero in the future and I should not invest into it for that purpose. But see now this thing is riding like a crazy bull and over 500 bucks now. I wish had great investment into it previously and still would have earned it by doing mining operation with my GPU's. Anyway that day is passed now and as I don't want to regret much with this thing I will have the dash bought with the exchanger always and I don't want to keep it lower than other currencies. I will always buy it in between whenever I have some extra income.

So this is because I think that dash will be goo currency in the future in terms of money value and the application same as like ether projects. Don't know may be we will see some DRC20 standard wallets and project based on that block. Lozl. We may or may not but the dash is good asset to hold for lone period of time surely.

I had the same thoughts back when it was darkcoin. The instamine will always be a stain on its birth for me.

I know a lot of people around here hate Dash with a passion, but I don't.  I think it's a neat coin that's way easier to use than bitcoin--but there's no way in hell I think that it's going to replace bitcoin or become the "currency of the future". 

Still, it'd be so nice if merchants would start accepting not only Dash, but other cryptos as well.  Honestly, I hate paying for stuff with bitcoin.  I'm thinking about buying a laptop from Newegg when I can save up enough from sig campaigns, but I know when the time comes it'll cost me something like $6 (or even more) to send them the money.  And if I want the transaction confirmed faster it'll definitely be more.  Bitcoin's got the community and first-mover advantage, and in my eyes it'll always be number one.  Dash is in the midst of a typical pump & dump scheme, that's my take on this.  But man...never thought I'd see Dash be almost $600.  That's crazy!

I do not have DASH, but I'm already planning to have a dash in the future. slowly but surely, now dash has begun to be demanded by some people see the price is up. this means that dash is great and can compete with other altcoin, i am sure that dash can reach the price of $ 1000.

I think it is too hard to predict what will transpire with DASH in the long-term future. That coin, while technologically superior in many ways to most other altcoins, is simply not likely to become "The One" because most coins end up dying from a lack of interest or pump-and-dump even if they are good coins.

If people actually care about anonymous transactions i think that they'll either go with ZCash or Monero instead of Dash. Dash has optional anonymity and that is one of their primary selling points alongside instant transactions.

I wouldn't call it the currency of the future because there's a lot of better coins out there in terms of anonymity or even transaction speed.

Also iif it was to be the currency of the future, it would have been in the top 3 already. It's been around long enough to do that.

I do not see Dash as your future currency because I have many coins with the same technology and I think they all have that potential. I think Pivx is the biggest coin to be a candidate for the future.

It is a premined twice rebranded Litecoin clone with bitconnect flashy marketing. It is  cryptocrap, but some poople seem to like crap (serious gainz so must be good)
I will never touch it.
If you need a fast and cheap transaction coin get Litecoin. Supported on many many exchanges and direct US$/LTC
If you need a REAL privacy coin get ZEN(cash). They are Almost running securenodes (end of nov)

Dash's price did not go up to 600 bucks. I am constantly following but I did not see the price of Dash at the level of 600 dollars in the stock market. I will invest more in this coin in the near future.

DASH has lots of really nice technology behind it, and some good benefits, but I think the main thing holding up the price is the masternode economics behind how it works

Without masternodes, there's no one who can be a real currency. It's the only thing that can make it useful for daily purchases. Double spending is a risk on non-masternode coins, really if people look at the realistic usability of each coin they would drop the leaders and take a MN coin.

this pump is nearing its end phase and people may start dumping soon. i wouldn't say that just because there is a pump it means that a coin is the future of cryptocurrencies or even currency in general. Dash is just another altcoin at the end of the day.

If cryptocurrencies were to succeed in the long run, then BTC will be the leading crypto to succeed. Not dash.

But dash can definitely be used for short term trading, that's for sure. SHort term dash can be really profitable to hold.

This post is completely inaccurate.  How old are you? 12?   Don't make sweeping statements without providing proof to back up your claims.  Massive pump?  Prove it.  Since China FUD most bit crypto x2 or x3?  Prove it.  In crypto history sudden price increases led to decent pullback? Prove it.  Tether Scam? Prove it.

Most Altcoins are the currency of the future but Dash needs to be competent with rivals. Although Dash gained fame and now investors are trying to spot Dash as their next Cryptocurrency to invest because it is already belongs to the top 20 must valued Altcoins.
Dash will probably the main rival of Ethereum in the future.
