The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Regarding the software for mining, see this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=214268.0;all

I personally use the TripleMining pool and I like it: http://ct1aic.triplemining.com

Supposedly, the software will detect the USB Block Eruptors. But I didn't tried it yet, as I use a Raspberry Pi and MinePeon to mine with my 2 USB Block Eruptors.

I got a tip from a guy that's mining with erupters to mandatory use some USB hub and an external fan, your USB plug on the MAC could be damaged from heat dispersion.

Also they probably wont fit side by side. Macbooks have about 1mm clearance between two normal usb cables.

Hi there. I've posted an article on how to get started mining with the USB Block Erupter on OS X using either bfgminer or cgminer. You can check it out here. Hope it helps!
