Does ages really matter in relationships?

Age does not matter in a relationship. For as long as there is love, trust and faith to each other it will result to a healthy and successful relationship and age is just a number and not a measure of compatibility. When you fall, your not falling about age. When you are building a relationship, you're not building an age. Relationship is a matter of compatibility and not of numbers. There are younger people with matured thinking and there are older people with childish thinking. Its not about age, its about maturity and compatibility. As long as you are both happy then age is not a hindrance.

for me, age doesn’t matter in a relationship. as long as you love each other and you respect one another. love defies everything. it doesn’t need a lot of explanation. you may not know what the reason is but what matters most is what you feel.

It will be wrong to say that age doesn't play any role in a relationship. Age does play a major role, although the priority may vary from couple to couple. Do you believe that a 15 year old girl will be happy (in the long-term) if she is married to a 90-year old man? If the answer is no, then it shows how the age is important in relationships.

Happiness isn't measured how long he enjoys happiness, there are some people who spend a long time to vacation with a partner for the sake of looking for happiness. However, what happens after they come home will not remember anything that happened during the holiday. And there are also people who always feel happy when remembering the last things of their loved ones even if it's only a moment.

For me age doesnt matter, because if you see the man or women that you love, its doesnt matter if he/she younger or older than you, because love will make a way for the two of you. If your the one for each other age is not important, if you have the same like,the same feelings then  why you will look for the age.right?

That is the idealistic view, but it not always holds true. The human nature take in to account other factors such as age, race and beauty. You can claim that love is blind and independent of all the prejudices, but in reality that is not the case.

everything is so subjective and personofied, we cant surely state the right anwser to this question. we can only guess and imagine. lets try though. there are couples with enormous difference in age, there are a lot of them and is theit relation happy, yes it is. preferences are always different what you appreciate or hate may find absolutely different view of other person. if we take it philosophicaly, your age is only the number. your thoughs may differ from your age. all of us have met a boy or a girl with a fascinating development not usual for his or her age and thats the answer. age does not matter, everything is in your head

I think that age shouldn't be an issue when it comes to relationship as the people involved have their right to choose. However, it would be suitable if the age gap won't be too great so that they can spend their lifetime together and enjoy it.

I think that it is not related with gender. It is about mental age. I mean women can also date with young men like young men can be with young women. If they have great time when they meet. Then that is OK for me.

It does not matter  if men are dating younger women, because age gap does not affect a relationship, what is needed in a relationship is mutual understanding from each other in the relationship to create a strong bond of love and a harmonious relationship.

To me, age only matters when the lady is far older than the guy. Women are well known to age faster than men. This can affect the strength of the relationship one day.

Of course age matters. Am 26 years old, and i wouldnt go for someone who is around 32 years. The lady who is older than me will probably age faster than me.I should rather be going for someone who is around 18-23 years old. I think that will be a correct pairing.

If you love someone, than age, financial condition, health, education etc. are not important at all.
