Rich land? The only natural resource they have is petroleum. Other than that, most of the middle east is comprised of barren desert, which is barely inhabitable. And as the human population increases, the competition is also going to increase for the few remaining natural resources. |

If World War III was to happen I believe it will be over Israel or Iran invading each other. Israel would be backed by the USA and likely the UK were as Iran would be backed by Russia and China. This war would end with total annihilation. But I would blame Israel for trying to get rid of every strong Arab Nation in the Middle-East. The Iraq war was for Israel, paid for by the USA in money and blood. The war will come in next 5 yrs. Sadly no body wins.... Because whole world will destroyed and became's inhabitable due to chemical and nuclear bombs.  |

when putin is dead it will be easier... once the iranians leadership is dead it will be easier. it's even possible that all problems start to be solve. but as long as those 2 groups live... it will be hard or next to impossible. we will win. 1. because it's home... that is enough, but so hedged...  and 2:  save your lives, surrender... |

I believe world war 3 can come from any angle. The truth is we cannot predict exactly where it will come from because war is mostly fought for political and personal reasons and in more ways than one, the middle east might just be the victims here.

I believe that Word Wall III will happen because the war in Syria is not about Al Assad to stay in power, its all about gas and oil, Syria has the second largest gas field in the world in area called "qalamon" which is controlled by Russian Companies since 2003. Also, its a religious war between Sunni and Shiaa.

Well, political problems are naturally occuring in every parts of the world not only in Middle East. However, what makes countries different from each other is that how they handle those political issues and how they resolve it. Moreover, it is the level of political conflict that defines how far problem go. Political dilemma in Middle East are now in fiery situation. With that, some people think that it may eventually lead to a world war. But personally, I don't think that it will lead to that. I do believe that the issue is not even close to that level yet that is why the people involved can do something right to overcome it in a peaceful and orderly manner. On the other hand, the issue in Syria, may probably lead to World War III of it won't stop.

For example, Qatar is currently the richest country, in terms of per capita income. The combined GDP of Saudi Arabia and the UAE amounts for over $1 trillion. Still believe that they need outside aid? |

Let's say around 40 percent yes it is because they fighting for a no reason , they just fight because they have different understanding on the culture , they want power and overtake the whole middle east. The other 60 is not because for what i believe , world war 3 is just an hoax , and i hope it wouldn't come true as of now our world may be full of destruction but look at the good side or the brighter side , instead of focusing on war , lets focus on the people that needed some action like those people need shelter and those people needed food and good source of water , instead of making weapons make houses. |

Many things comes to mind whenever the Middle East is mentioned so my exact thoughts will vary according to the topics presented. Few people seem to understand how diverse and complex the region actually is due to the limited information they get from the news channels and pop culture.
