The tea party is over. It ended when Sarah Palin walked in.

Sarah palin isn't tea party. Tea party originally started with the ron paul movement. Where was palin then? Running with McCain. Definitely not tea party.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

It seems your reading comprehension may be lacking this evening. It's alright. These kinds of things happen to even the best of us.

Wow. I'm somewhat astounded by the intellectual elitism.

I am astounded how you try to make intellectuality sound like something bad.

The American experiment was a failure. A noble attempt, maybe, but ultimately a giant steaming pile of fail.

But it was a good failure, one that teaches us a lot. It is the only system that I can think of that was designed rather than grown, but did not end in disasters like e.g. the soviet union.

It's not elitism to say Tea Partiers are morons. It's reality. Whatever your political inclination is.

I suggest you paint with a narrower brush, or you might find that you offend the wrong forum member.  It's a short trip back to newbie hell from where you are standing.

So you will ban/censor people who disagree with your opinions?

Yeah, that's my style.  You can't find a dissenting opinion anywhere.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

"I donated to Ron Paul as part of the Money Bomb."

+2
I don't think he will win but the further he makes it the better. It is up to the people to fund the best people for goverment and I think he is currently the best person that reflects my views. If the people won't personaly fund candidates like this other organizations end up making the descisions for us. Donating is more important than voting.

I thought the tea party was at least named the tea party after the Rick Santelli rant on CNBC. I was watching that day and it was quite a good rant. I am cool with the tea party as long as they don't bring religion into it ... I think tea party has been targeted and labeled by groups with allot of money and media outlets. I don't know how they make the connections with the libertarian type views of the tea party people and racism..

Ron Paul, whom I respect, didn't start it either.

Actually, the Tea Party was started by the Ron Paul supporters to get people to fund Ron Paul 2008 campaign. When the presidentials were over, Fox News, in their line of copying Ron Paul rethoric, co-opted it.

No, sorry.  The 'Tea Party' was started many years after the Tea Parties on April 15th and on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.  The idea was started by libertarians & like people, picked up by Ron Paul supporters leading into the 2007 Republican nomination cycle (who are also far more libertarian than the rest of the Republican Party), and co-opted by the Republican Party around 2009 after it became apparent that it wasn't going to fade away.

I was there for most of it, I watched it happen.

Ok. I stand corrected.

The design completely failed at the time of the War Between the States. Since then, it has grown, in more ways than one.  It did most certainly end in disaster, the bloodiest war in history up until that time. The system we have now, which hardly resembles the system envisioned in 1787, will also end in disaster. Most likely sooner rather than later.
