I saw the escrow needed post and I have a few questions. I was talking to someone on localbitcoins the other day who said they had their own escrow service. If two people have someone to act as an escrow, what steps do you take to trust the escrow there using if say you decide to go with their escrow? Also, is it easy to get an escrow?  I saw some recommendations on some reputable people in here. I don't have the link on me right now, but there was another post in here with a link of a list of people and I have emailed 2 and have not received any responses. I'm a newbie so only looking to say buy $50.00 at a time so not sure if I'm not of interest because I don't want to buy a lot at once (?).  I'm a newbie so I'm not sure about some of this stuff.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Usually I stay away from escrows that are related to the seller since those two can default you at anytime and you cannot do something about it. Where do you live btw? Best thing you can do if you aren't registered in an exchange is to look for other deals around your local or register in an exchange to avoid being ripped off. Also, no one would escrow $50 here since most are interested on handling large amounts for them to make a decent cut.

If anyone (from the escrows) is the most trusted person around here, then it is Blazed.

If two people have someone to act as an escrow, what steps do you take to trust the escrow there using if say you decide to go with their escrow?
Review their reputation and history of trades.

Also, is it easy to get an escrow?
It takes a single PM in the right format to someone e.g. me (given that the deal is *acceptable*).

I saw some recommendations on some reputable people in here. I don't have the link on me right now, but there was another post in here with a link of a list of people and I have emailed 2 and have not received any responses.
Don't use email, use PM.

I'm a newbie so only looking to say buy $50.00 at a time so not sure if I'm not of interest because I don't want to buy a lot at once (?).  I'm a newbie so I'm not sure about some of this stuff.
You should look for a free or very cheap escrow then. However, if you are dealing with a buyer with a lot of reputation on localbitcoins, then I don't see a need to use escrow (especially since you'd be doing $50 at a time).
