Thank you.

The Blade rarely reaches 8000 MH/s then it goes down in a couple of minutes.

I'm using an ATX 120W (12V @ 10A) power supply and two 12'' fans for cooling it.
I have also measured temperature and power consumption: they are about 40° and 91W.
I tried with other power supply, even an ATX 750W but nothing changes.

Is this Blade broken?

@2GOOD thx Smiley

blades supports only the old getwork protocol  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Getwork
stratum is a new protocol, used by most pools https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Stratum

you can use a pool which support getwork directly, btcmp.com for example
For best results use a (local) stratum proxy. An R-Pi is sufficient for this completely

49 port USB HUBs in stock! Unfortunately, only a very limited number  Cry
I have not received any info when I get more.

Therefore, only one hub per order (at least 50 miners USB) for free, while supplies last and I like you Wink

Is an ATX power with at least 25 A from 5 V pins required to use the USB HUB at full capacity of 49 erupters?

Hi Olie,

510mA * 49 = 24990 / 1000 = 24,99 Amp

So it should be enough... 25 Amp is an ATX supply.... Hum.. about 500W ATX psu will be more than enough ( I think it has about 42A on the 5V Rail).  Grin

best regards,

P.

Sounds like an opportunity to abuse the 12v line was missed on these hubs Sad.

Yea, suppose that's a bonus then, 5v rail for usb's, 12v for blades. Less PSU's to blow up Cheesy

the 500W is typical for the 12V rail, you have to check the datasheet to be sure

Hashing power instead of a paper clip.

My old psu crashes out if I only draw on the 12v rail, the fan controller appears to only look at the 5v rail.(old but unused 450w)
