Keep you money. I accelerated your transaction for free at AntPool's free accelerator.

Paying for accelerations is risky because you can't never know which people (if any) was really responsible for the transaction confirmation.
I could just come here and say "accelerated". And if your transaction gets confirmed anytime soon, you would have payed me for nothing.

Just checked it is still unconfirmed, I tried to accelerate it for you on ViaBTC free accelerator service but it says the fee is too low.

The money isn't lost either way.

Try these guys, maybe they can accelerate it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2392715.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2204426.0

If you're the sender, you could try to resend it with a higher fee. Some pointers here:

You can add it to http://confirmtx.com/, pay $4, and either get it confirmed within 24 hours, or you get a full refund.

As for the remainder of your $25 cash: you could host a New Years contest on the forum.

You've paid less than 2 sat/byte for your transaction and this means there are not many that will accept it.
Next time try to stay over 10 sat/byte to have at least ViaBTC accept it. The higher the better.

Now, some ideas:
1. Make a thread where you state that you have 1.7 sat/B and you'd pay for accelerating. Maybe you attract the right attention, but the chance is not great.
2. Ask around. Two names I've found for you are Quickseller and macbook-air. Read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0
3. You can read on the same page about RBF and other methods to try by yourself.
4. Wait. If it's your wallet where you've sent from, the money will return back to you sooner or later. Just some wallets will keep re-broadcasting your transaction and that's not what you need. If you chose this path you'll have to read a bit. A start could be here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1805139.0

Did they give you a refund after 24 hours?

NeuroticFish is on the right track. What wallet are you using?

Next time (or if you can abandon transaction), try to use a wallet with coin control features.
You have these inputs (in dollars to clearly show the small amounts):
Quote
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.19 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 16.94 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 15.88 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 15.19 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 44.94 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.15 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.12 - Output)

1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 12.10 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 90.16 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.17 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.31 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.26 - Output)

1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 153.62 - Output)
1AhzpH2UhXytim46ELJY6sgncpVTVkqAvJ ($ 0.11 - Output)
Anything under $1.00 (0.0001BTC) is not worth the fee required to send it. If you omit the strikethrough inputs, your transaction will be smaller and your required fee lower. Bitcoin dust is more than worthless with high fees: it actually costs you money to spend dust.

On a positive note: since you created the transaction, the output value went up from $260 to $349 Cheesy

Isn't it just about 30-40 bytes per input? If it is, and assuming 10 sat/byte, that currently puts the threshold at 0.04$.

It depends.. since the 10 sat/byte is the minimum to play with, assuming you have the patience to "get it" at ViaBTC accelerator.
Current normal fee is about 15x bigger, just check here the numbers: https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx

I also agree that when the network is this busy (see the bottom area of that same page) you better don't send large transactions.
When the network clears up (believe me, it did happen and will happen again) to under 10MB, maybe even under 5MB, then you can consolidate your inputs at a very small fee.

I'm ignoring the time factor here. Just trying to understand if LoyceV says the costs per input are higher than that.

Regarding fee estimates on sites, I get the sense that their "recommended" is usually the highest seen on the network?
In many cases I wouldn't mind a delay of 12-24 hours, so seemingly going for almost the lowest fee should do.

No, those are outputs (34 bytes). Inputs are just over 4 (for compressed addresses) to 5 (for uncompressed addresses) times bigger.

Correct. And most wallets also aim to be in the next block with "dynamic fees". The result is that "recommended fees" go up if the next block isn't found fast enough. In the end, blocks are still full, transactions are still slow, and we all pay more.

So what is the solution for me to get out of this, I'm ready to pay as high as $75 to anybody that can get this sorted out for me

Are you the sender or the receiver of this transaction?
Did you try any of the things from the "stuck transactions" thread linked earlier?

Try to see if child-pays-for-parent can work. Transfer the output of the unconfirmed transaction to yourself in a new transaction, paying a higher than usual fee. Enough to cover the unconfirmed transaction, plus the new one, and maybe some more, I don't know how much but see a calculation below.

An example of executing CPFP:
https://youtu.be/dUJyfz0QQXw?t=35s

You'd need the private key for that address:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/5933

Be careful about exposing private keys. In case of doubt, move the sums quickly to a new address.

The stuck tx is 2.5KB, your new one is going to be 0.25KB, so let's say 2.8KB both.
Check here the current fees on the network.
I'm not sure if there's a need to pay the highest, and I don't know if there's a need to pay an extra beyond that.
But assuming 120 sat/byte for a quick confirm, that's 2800*120 = 0.0033'6000 fees.

For all I know, it might work for half that much or less, just with a longer delay. You can also wait for a time when the network is less congested and the fees are lower on average. Maybe someone with actual experience with CPFP could chime in about the fees.

I use paxful wallet and they dont allow me access to do all this things, i can't spend the balance until its confirmed not like blockchain that an unconfiremd balance can be spent

The sending party should stop broadcasting this transaction, and do it again after increasing the fee.

There are commercial parties offering paid accelerators, https://pushtx.btc.com/#/ charges $301.64, https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ charges 0.02555BTC. That's too expensive for this transaction, but it's "normal" rates now for this service.

Loyce, is it certain the sender is rebroadcasting? That is, no chance it bounces back and forth between nodes on the network?
