For me, some people are unhappy because of insecurities, discontentment of the life they have and counting the things to come than the blessings they received. The only thing that you could do to make your life happy is to know your worth, knowing the outside and inside part of yours, to love and be loved by others.

People are unhappy mainly because we do not get want we want that is way beyond in simply fulfilling our satisfaction. We do get positive news, good feedbacks, great things, successful stories, amazing wealth, wonderful family, and lovely life, yet some people are still unhappy. I do believe that it is way beyond to just being not contented but a feeling of emptiness. Though we could have the best things in our lives, something's lacking. We could have it, but not all, not everytime. People become unhappy for the reason that we tend to focus onto the things that we don't have rather than to the things that we do have. We cannot remove our 'comparing thinking' which leads to insecurity that makes us believe that we are unhappy.
