Wow, now that is valuable (honestly, if I supported this type of trade, I would buy this just to give to someone, but I do not know this person and all accounts involved with this situation could all be deleted rather quickly)

Illegal of course, but highly valuable.  Get in on this before it gets locked people, Waffles is second to What.cd as far as music choices imo, but nothing compares to either site (if you remember OiNK people, it basically has become these two sites)

After OiNK shut down it took me months to get onto Waffles, what with the surge of people desperate for a new website to call their home. I didn't find out about What.cd until even later; so I've always wondered how it faired compared to Waffles?

I understand peoples reluctance to trust the new guy. Until I have a few transactions behind my name all I can offer is my word, unfortunately. But if anyone is interested I hope they'll give me the benefit of the doubt!

I would work on getting in What.cd, the organization that Oink started out with moved to What.cd.

Just curious, when you get an invite, what do you need to do not to get banned?

I don't have an account with them but with any private torrent site it is required to keep a good ratio and not get caught selling invites or being the person buying invites.

You must maintain a good upload/download ratio, though it doesn't kick in until you've downloaded 5GB. Once it does the minimum ratio is 0.15 and gets progressively higher the more you download.
This isn't as hard as it sounds though. At present I have a ratio of 1.349 after downloading 40.33GB.

Yes, it is against their rules to buy or sell invites. However to get caught would require someone to report it which is highly unlikely.

Having seen other threads offering invites to these websites, among others, I figured it'd be okay. But if the thread does get locked I'll happily abide and not do it again.

Quality and Quantity to public trackers is not even possible.  I find tracks on both What.CD and Waffles that Amazon does not.   brb, taking a screen shot so the public can understand what happens when people who love something can come together

All of the above! Faster downloads, better quality, earlier releases, and more content. There's also usually more obscure releases (e.g. vinyl rips, lesser known bands) which can often be harder or even impossible to find on public trackers.

The very fact that it's private and that people must maintain good ratio's is why it's so good. Everyone who downloads is going to seed as long as they can, unlike public trackers which suffer from hit & runs as well as torrents which lose seeders with age, trailing to a snails place when downloading.

And of course these sites always have nice communities and active forums!

I heard Metallica is big supporters of these digital audio files, so I am using them as an example. Below is a screenshot of What.CD's Metallica page.  I wanted to just point out (with that arrow) how long that page is. I zoomed out in Chrome to 69% (minus 2 magnification) and I just noticed now after uploading, all those albums you see, is still just one album, different variations of it, not only based on the quality itself, but source as well (import, vinyl, etc), they are all just Death Magnetic

It's also worth mentioning that while you often see fewer peers on private trackers, that they are all attempting to keep a good ratio. Therefore they will all be offering much more upload bandwidth than you'll see on public trackers.
On Waffles I frequently download albums with only a few peers, but still achieve speeds magnitudes higher than public trackers. The biggest limit for me is my own internets download speed!
