There's a lot of intelligent individuals especially hackers now a days. For me, I think bitcoin assures the security of their users so they come up of having paper wallet etc. So in our part maybe we should think a strongest password and make sure to always logout and dont share personal info:) to prevent this kind of event.
yeah i think they can hack some of the site that hold bitcoin cause hacker really smart. if you dont want to get hacked save you password, private key or anything that link you to your bitcoin into some safe place in a flashdisk don't save them into cloud system like google drive

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

One thing to keep in mind, BitCon is an unmanageable crypto at the moment. Hackers can only penetrate the e-wallet as well as the exchange platform to grab the user's Bitcoin only. In recent times, many exchange platforms have been hacked by hackers and taken away with a huge amount of Bitcoin, which negatively affects the exchange rate of cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin can't be hacked obviously, however there are several ways to access your wallet or exchange wallet as happened before. For example, we can see bitcoin addresses, doesn't mean we can access the coins, unless you have the private keys or malware get into your devices.

It was stated that it is a victimized executed form by some hackers,  not only once but a thousands complainant about history of hackers victim. Not only on wallet but there are some bitcoin accounts hacked and access by another people or it was directly stolen.

With poor regolamentation in term of cryptocurrency, hackers and scammers are more stimolated to rob bitcoins. They kinda risk nothing with super high profit, what cant they ask more.

Normally a hacker would weight cost and benefit, so many times protection is not about making something impossible but rather make it too expensive.

it can be hacked, but it is too hard, because bitcoin is full of security and when it get hacked it is easy for the developer to retrieve bitcoin. Many hackers try to hack Bitcoins but they fail because of its security.

Yes we must be more careful in storing a wallet because in order to anticipate the bad things that happen to us later. If we can make more stringent security surely the hackers can never do theft.

In theory, everything out there can be hacked. If you had sufficient computing power and sufficient time you could potentially break the keys for the bitcoin accounts by mere brute force. That might happen with quantum computing.

That's basic internet security tips. I learned those things a long, long time ago and my children learned them in grade school. I don't think there are many people who don't have some kind of knowledge when it comes to these basics, but actually applying the knowledge is a completely different story. Most of the time it just comes down to not going to sketchy sites, have 2FA enabled and don't use online wallets if you really want to have dedicated security for your wallet. Cold storage will always beat any password or security system that you try to implant.

Bitcoin can potentially be broken by using a brute force attack, much like any other protection system based on keys. I believe that is still a long way away to happen.

If you want to be safe you should think like a hacker.
First, a hacker will try to hack your passwords throw trojans, malwares or anything to gain access to your computer, so, you have to use a good antivirus and never download a file from an untrusted website.
Then, a hacker can pretend to be your friend to collect as much information as possible such as birth date or best friend name. Those information can be valuable when trying to reset your passwords.
Hacking a human mind is always easier than hacking a software.

This is very good suggestion, but dont you think all people can not do it? I mean i can not think like hacker because my bad.
I only not download anything from any source and i dont click link from any source because i type it.

As for me, situations like this can be true, for some people it is a cue for them to stop investing to bitcoin, but if it is hackable many investors wouldnt invest their money if so, and for certain reason, millionaires have already invested! get the logic!

Those are must. Actually those are the most basic things you must learn before engaging yourself to BTC. What you've said are all correct but I don't see the point of your post. Is that supposed to ward us? Make us aware? A question? Because honestly, any individual who uses social media accounts knows all those stuff. SO i'm sorry I don't see the point of this post but yes I agree, just be clear with your intentions next time.

Your wallet can be hacked, not Bitcoin or the blockchain. If you have a personal wallet or one on the exchange, then this is your technology Achilles heal, so make sure you have good best practices in place (prevention of being compromised with your account or technology used)

I just thought of the same idea. Can bitcoin be hacked? I think it can be but will take several centuries, this is what many people say. I believe it because if it wasn't secured enough it would only take a few days to hack all bitcoins. The reason why there accounts that are hacked was because they they fail to secure the computers they used in transacting online. The strongest password does not guarantee that you are safe from hacking but it gives you the edge over hackers.

Yes if u share your password or recovry phrase or private key with friends.
it's not really hacking if you are sharing your information.

LOL, this is true.

For the topic common man do you really need to post this. Everybody knows what you are telling.

Clever title it is misleading but it is clickable because price is dropping and it could be the potential reason why. Thats what went in my mind.

Bitcoin can not be hacked despite the fact that there are a lot of intelligent hackers out there but the only thing that jeopardize bitcoin is human error when online or offline which literally leads to wallet been hacked.

It is believed that the government has no legal basis to close the bitcoin mining industry, but at the same time it also stated that if the government really did so, the miners could only transfer their business to other areas....

Of course we have smart people around but bitcoin is a blockchain product that can not be hacked!

When people refer to bitcoin being hacked then they are referring to the wallet not btc, too much computer power will be needed for this Roll Eyes
