Sorry guys. Can anybody please kindly explain to me what 'hodl' means. I understand that's kind of a slang world I just want to grisp the meaning or irony of it Grin

Nothing special. It was coined from 'hold'. A kind of meme

Some time ago a guy made a typo and wrote HODL instead of HOLD. It became a thing Smiley

It's just a way of saying holding, it all started with this forum post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0 where the person misspelled hold. From that momento on i guess it became a meme

It mean "hold" you must keep storing your coins in wallet for a long time until they get more value.
