In the words of Satoshi. "I've been working on a new electronic cash system that's fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party."
The question now is: Are we using Bitcoin for what it was intended? Or we just going to wait Digital Gold to moon.
He does deserve Nobel for the invention but its disappointing there were no guardrails to prevent the silly speculation going on now
You can create something good that it can overwhelm people that they will put it in another food use. Bitcoin used to be electronic peer to peer which today it is still the same use, but the digital asset is more than the every day to day use. If you have own one Bitcoin since 2009 till now, I believe you will understand better. I don't think there is anything bad for Bitcoin to be used as store of value as long as it doesn't violate any rules about it been used like you said.
Any government, institutional investors and many people that got entangled to Bitcoin today didn't like it because it can be used to send value from one place to another. It's because of the use case as a store of value that's why they used billions of dollars to invest in it. If today Bitcoin doesn't have the store of value that it's having today, I'm sure that even you will not be here to talk about Bitcoin but it's because it's having value that's why we are all high to discuss about the presence, the past and the future.
