I am sorry to keep asking newbie questions but I have a 5 xmr brass lealana coin. I want to make sure that it is loaded. It only has three first bits 266. Anyone know where or how I can check? Thank you
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

It is loaded as long as the real hologram is intact and not have "BUYER FUNDED" laser marked on it.

Post a pic and someone can tell you for sure - whoever bought it from smoothie originally should have the digital COA.

Thanks Owlcatz. The person I bought it from told me he got it for free at a bitcoin meeting or something like that. He did not have a COA.

Since the Monero blockchain is opaque there's no way for you to find out whether the coin is loaded if you not have the priv-key (remove the hologram to get it) or the view-key (which would be on the COA).

If it's assembled and there is a serial #, it's most likely funded.  A picture would go a long way to verifying it though.

Agreed, jaska please use imgur or something similar to share an image of the coin.  Even though the COA is missing it will still have some value.
