I read from an article, saying that due to the continuous rise in the price of bitcoin, bitcoin will continue to have more forks creating new altcoins. Now, if the price of bitcoin continues rising and more forks are carried out, the price of bitcoin does not get affected, cause it rises up again. Then what really is the purpose of the fork carried out on bitcoin?  Undecided
