what to do if bitcoin decreases?

I was about to post something similar to what the OP said here.
Bitcoin is very fashionable at the moment, but also bubbling like crazy.

If it starts to fall, some money will move to alts looking for returns. When you see the BTC price of many of the top alts (except IOTA), they are very low at the moment.
I see a perfect storm for a big pump in LTC, ETH, DASH and XRP at least.

Bitcoin is an instrument payments that already has many users. users who many will cause the demand will continue to grow if the user is also growing and will cause growth or the exchange rate rise increasingly bitcoin. Bitcoin decline will be many users who will survive until things improve.

I don't think there is a need of if here. Because bitcoin will eventually start to fall. I agree that bitcoin is the best coin and all but it's over valued at the moment and it will start to decrease at some point and that point is not far away. When it falls you can collect bitcoin because after a while it will start to rise again to great numbers. That's how the markets work.

For me if bitcoin decrease i will buy some of it and other just hold it and waiting on it to pump higher but we can know when it comes.

We all know when btc goes on a bull run that most alts tank it, but what happens when we are holding our alts and btc itself goes on a bear run?
What generally happens to alts in that instance.. Anyone noticed a pattern? Or can your predict what will happen in future events..

If bitcoin's value decreases, then you should invest on it, now while it is not, you should buy some eth or other altcoins since the prices are relatively low, then sell them again once bitcoin's value decreases or stabilizes.

If Bitcoin value decreases,  I think it is better to invest more in BTC and wait for some days for profit. Invest in BTC is like investing in gold.

If bitcoin decreases this will be a chance to invest. Buying bitcoin when its price fall the most is the best opportunity then you can hold and do nothing but wait for its price to rise up again. Just a basic process but very profitable if mastered.

You said it yourself. Lots of people are investing on bitcoin which is causing the price to increase. After a while some users will end up cashing out to make profit from their investment. This will cause the price to fall. When the price falls, it will open opportunity for users who couldn't invest when the price was high. When the start investing, the price will start to recover soon. So all you should do is keep holding.

The thumb rule in case of bitcoin should be never to sell bitcoin. I would be buying if the price decreases for sure. Also its a good idea to buy it every month so even if the price does decrease, one can average down on their buying price.

I agree on this! Whether to increase and decrease bitcoin value, it is right to continuously support it and keep on buying because, in every investment, it is normal to always that risk is always involved. When bitcoin price is lower, better to buy it. But when it is high, better to hold your bitcoin investment and allow it to grow in time. Many of my friends are also doing the same. This way or strategy is effective to us. This you can also try if you would like to consider.

Bitcoin and almost all of the altcoins have really fluctuate prices. This situation is their nature. So, every coin can show really extaordinary increasing or rising. And this is normal.

If the bitcoin value has decreased, I will hold my bitcoin and waiting for the time for bitcoin value increase again. While waiting for that, I can join on some good ICO project or trading altcoin also will be good option. Just need to survive on cryptocurrency.

I think I screwed up the question...I know that value does fluctuate or maybe I'm stupid but the money in my regular bank account with no interest etc. from 10 years ago is pretty much the same value...my question is when your bitcoins are in your wallet since they are virtual...if tomorrow $10 worth of coins are worth more...will the numbers within the wallet change to show it's increased value or will it just say .000051 or whatever $10 worth of Bitcoin is...yep, I'm dumb.

the first we have to find out the reason why Bitcoin goes down. In my view, unless a perfect coin appears and replaces Bitcoin, Bitcoin won't decrease rapidly. Let hodl and wait for the recovered waves.
