Once you have completed your signup on Viola.AI, all you have to do is to follow the quick steps written below to complete the KYC Application — to complete the Whitelisting Process.

SMART TIPS: Before you proceed, please get ready with a copy of your valid ID (Government-Issued ID, Passport or Driver’s License). You will be asked to take a photo of yourself holding the same ID.
Your uploaded ID must be clearly visible and readable for verification. The ID numbers reflected on your Personal Information (My Profile page) must match the submitted ID.

The Whitelisting Process page can be accessed upon successful login (for existing members) or upon signing up on Viola.AI (for new members).

• Upload a copy of your photo ID (valid Government-Issued ID, Passport or Driver’s License).

• Upload your ‘selfie’ holding the photo ID.

The Whitelist
You must pass the KYC application to be a part of the Whitelist. Only whitelisted members can purchase VIOLA Tokens when the Public Sale is LIVE.

Once whitelisted, you will be informed via email about your designated individual cap. The corresponding cap allows you to get the 30% bonus tokens — limited and only available on the first day of ICO.

KYC Application Status
The result of your KYC application will be sent to your registered email address within 7 working days from the date of your submission.

Why the sudden need for requiring ID's and a photo of a user holding his ID?

This was not mentioned during the PRE-ICO sale! Users are now suddenly unable to receive their coins unless they give up some privacy. How secure and confidential are those ID's stored?

Hi Korbeny2k, the KYC is needed as this is part of the measures on Anti-Money Laundering & Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CFT), particularly for entity in Singapore. The information is stored in encrypted system and we restrict the personnel who has access to the system.

It might sound funny to some members of the commmunity but i find it quite an interesting concept, you should look to get listed on https://icotoinvest.com/ and get more members and users to learn more about this ICO.

Underestimated in potential indeed.

There's no worrying about the market, the company financials, the community, because they are doing this for over a decade already. There's the token sale that still has to finish, and then the road map says in May 2018 the first few things are supposed to be introduced to the community. Actually all things after the token sale are depending on the software/technology. Even if there are unforeseen complications along the road map, this company is never gonna throw this entire project down the drain over some software complications, coding errors or whatever. This is something they desire themselves as well. If there are any complications, they're just gonna hire someone to fix that, like a good company would. Only time will tell, but that is what I expect.

edit: I doubted this at first, but having read into this little by little, it seems that expansion of their dating business is not a step they took overnight. This has been well thought of. Let's hope the A.I. strives to be just as thoughtful for the customers/community of this business, because that's what eventually will be the basis of success that will put value in the coin (for the investor).
