Hi,
Last night, I found an old Win Vista laptop (2 GB RAM) in my attic. It has a Bitcoin wallet (Bitcoin-Qt, Version v 0.86-beta that had 0.05 BTC in it.
I set it up to transfer to my Exodus Wallet in my Win10 laptop. Send/receive were all okay, but I didn't realize that the date on the Vista laptop was, like June 27th 2014. And so the transaction was recorded like it was made in 2014.
The 0.05 BTC showed up in my Exodus wallet, but it has been stuck in "Pending."
Now, I think my fraction of a BTC is in cyberspace. When I check the transaction on BlockCypher, I get:
No transaction was found with the hash: 2dbb2e5825a7b80018116ab7e09571a44cf8bed2dc7b5ec384c2c07333e0f12d
When I check the .csv file for the BTC transactions on the Vista wallet on BlockCypher, it says that the 0.05 BTC is unspent.
Will it eventually come through to my Exodus wallet, or is something else that I can do?
Thanks for your help!
Wenwill
