Monero is surely a great cryptocurrency and had a great year like the rest of the top coins. It had a bright future ahead and is worth an investment but it wont replace Bitcoin at least not the function it currently servers (nor as a payment nor as gold).

I accept that Monero offers full anonymity in transactions.It is for that reason that dark markets earlier adopted it.But i don't think that normal people would switch to monero only for the reason of huge restrictions on bitcoin.People do not trust any other coin like bitcoin.Bitcoin regulation is better than bitcoin being totally banned and if bitcoin gets regulated,we could just experience the same scenario as what happened in japan after legalizing bitcoin.No japanese have turned to monero after bitcoin getting legalized and being regulated.Japan has been a setting example for bitcoin regulation.

I disagree with you. Now it is very difficult to use bitcoin. Therefore, people are actively starting to use other coins. And Monero is one of the most convenient coins

Why not? Monero isn't that bad after all. It's just that almost all traders are into Bitcoin right now that some of the altcoin's prices goes down. Why not try to have a Monero today, because we'll never what future will it have.

You cant regulate bitcoin when everything in bitcoin ecosystem gets build decentralized.  Until we base on centralized exchanges then yes is easy, but that will eventually stop.

People will turn to Monero when they will get sick that everyone see how much money they have and what they bought. Privacy is a basic human right. And only Monero in crypto fulfills it.

I know investors were looking for a potentialy profitable coin in the market. And a lot of coins to choose, maybe somehow they try and recognized monero. But it could not be a hundred assurance that investors will stick for a single coins. In fact monero doesn't play a good market in the past days, maybe is just because a lot of coins exist and of course investors will try for it.

I don't understand why to turn monero. Lots of investors are already in monero and this shifted its price up to $200 and around it. Be realistic while writing something about monero. Privacy is not everything.

People have been turning to Monero from Bitcoin, slowly but surely, but this has nothing to do with regulations. Those who want to avoid regulations will just stay away from centralized exchanges. Of course, dark market traders will also learn by now that Bitcoin never suited their purposes. They want to remain anonymous, which is what Bitcoin never offered, and Monero constantly works to improve. So Bitcoin users will not give up the coin for an alt, it just depends on what their primary aim is. If it is to trade illegally and use anonymously, then they choose a coin that suits them.

I am not certain that people will turn to just Monero. Monero is not the only privacy coin out there. The four main ones are Monero, ZCash, Dash, and PIVX. It is always really hard to pick the winnder in any race but I do not think you can go wrong with Monero. PIVX will be the next one on my buylist and ZCash most likely will not be as the zk-SNARK protocol is on the roadmap for other currencies like Ethereum.

I see many GPU mining people now mining the XMR.
Even its mining difficulty also increasing more like ethereum and bitcoin. Some of the people find the more income with the monero mining.
Why people like have stupid thought that BTC fighting with BCH. Nothing can be compare with bitcoin.
BCH will reached to below 100 USD soon. That is my wish too due to avoid the BCH competition.

I my opinion anonymous coins such as Zcash, Monero and Zcoin are the true future for crytpo currencies. For a crypto currency to be successful it 100% has to be anonymous. If you do some research you will also see the Roger Ver has all of these stocked up

Monero could be the best crypto for all kinds of illegal activities like terrorist funding, money laundering, drugs etc because of no public ledger. So price might actually go up and may be it can beat Bitcoin in this field but this is the main disadvantage of Monero also and it won't go into mainstream world like Bitcoin is in now.

I've no idea about how the marketing strategy can affect the monero's reputation and can you tell me the more about that? Because the monero is not like dash and another coin to advertise their coin to the public and attract a lot of people to buy it. Basically, monero is a privacy token and it's really different with dash.

When people hear about Altcoins the only currency will came up to mind is Ethereum so I think when Bitcoin is very expensive and only few people can actually afford it then people will invest more to Ethereum than Monero or other top Altcoins.
