I just want to share some statistics about the number of attempted bitcoin purchases. Several weeks ago I unveiled the BTC Economy plugin, which creates a live feed out of merchandise that is for sale in the bitcoin community. Since then, over a dozen websites have embedded the plugin. I counted up the number of "buys" this morning. These are events where a visitor clicks the buy button in the feed. The visitors are then redirected to the appropriate bitcoin store. 196 people have clicked buy! I concede that most of these visitors probably did not buy anything. But at least a few probably did. In addition to the number of people clicking "buy", over 200 people have clicked on the referral links. And over 3000 people have clicked on at item in the feed to learn more about it.  |

I will be opening a store hopefully soon, I will be putting links to all community based stores, even if they sell similar products, I seen this plugin before and liked it, might make sure it is somewhere on the top portion of the site design. Well done man.

2% is a good conversion rate depending on the ad phrasing/product
with 3000 hits its guaranteed you had some buyers.. I speak from experience.
you should be charging commissions!!! now all u gotta do is get some mesothelioma lawyers to accept bitcoin as payment!

This is a neat little tool for websites. I have stuck it on bitfreak but it was too big to fit in the advert/side section, so I just put it on the "Using Bitcoin" page. It would be good if there was a way to change the width of it. Nice work though, very useful. |

This is a neat little tool for websites. I have stuck it on bitfreak but it was too big to fit in the advert/side section, so I just put it on the "Using Bitcoin" page. It would be good if there was a way to change the width of it. Nice work though, very useful. <script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.bitcoinbulletin.com/btceconomy?width=250&height=400"></script> It would look slick on that blank spot on the right hand side. Put the width to 250 to match that image already on that side, just threw the defaultish height in. |

I'm pretty sure he didn't purchase Theme Zoom to drill down and analyze sales. Bitcoin is synonymous with mining, not drilling. But, to understand the full matrix of a website dedicated to mined bitcoins, one must "Drill, Baby, Drill!" No solar powered windmills were constructed during the composition of this post. |
