We have recently seen a increase of threads that are trying to influence people to abandon Bitcoin for the REAL Bitcoin. Have we considered for ourselves, what the REAL Bitcoin is for us and not what the REAL Bitcoin is according to other people?

Personally I disagree with this relativistic view f things where each person gets to decide what something means, if we do that then everything losses it meaning not only bitcoin, that is why to me the only bitcoin is the one created by satoshi and maintained by the devs.

So you are saying, Bitcoin must be defined by what other people say it must be? <even if that people is Satoshi?> What happens if the Core Devs are replaced by some malicious group, intent on destroying Bitcoin? Would you still regard it as the REAL Bitcoin then?

Some people are blaming the current Core Developers for all the problems we have now, but they have no clue why they should not do that, because they are fixated on Satoshi's white paper and not on the limitations of his code and what can resolve the situation.

Real Bitcoin? That is honestly no one's right to decide. Real isn't subjective. There is only one true Bitcoin, and that's the legacy chain we're using right now. All the others are forks. They stopped being Bitcoin the moment they were forked.

at first time i know about this BTC, all i can think is about profit that i can make for living

  Obviously my real bitcoin is  the original Bitcoin. Nothing more, nothing less. Since the first time i saw it, i immidiately fell in love with it so fast. I loved its ideologies, the problems it would be solving and have solved, the rich history behind it. And of course, the coolness it has. Which really made my day .

Defining the REAL bitcoin could come down to a darwinist, survival-of-the-fittest, crypto coin battle royale. The REAL bitcoin will be determined by which bitcoin survives. I'm throwing my support behind Satoshi's vision and dream. I'll never use a forked version of btc, even if there is money to be made by doing so.

Forked coins require new traders who don't know much to sustain their dump cycle. Hopefully there will be a very limited number of individuals who will buy artificially pumped forks. And hopefully we can rely on the internet for accurate and up to date information on forks, which will help people from buying in when the price of artificially pumped, market manipulated, forks are in their dump cycle.

The most telling thing is that bitcoin still has the name. Most hype and new investment will be because of publicity about bitcoin and it already has a huge 'brand' so to speak. Most people on the street will never have heard of bitcoin cash.

This doesn’t quite make sense to me… what do you mean by real Bitcoin? Are you trying to say that most of us here are using fake Bitcoin or what? By the way, the real Bitcoin is always none as Bitcoin, nothing else… others has some add-ups just like ; Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Cash and Segwit2x… so you don’t really know what you’re saying, seriously.

Actually these people have to blame. They are finding something for blaming and when nothing is found, they turn over some amazing thing and start finding loopholes. They are doing this right now with bitcoins. Questions are being risen then what the developer’s policies are and how we know they are right persons to this job or not or whether they become malicious. For God sake wake up.

I suppose it depends how to define "real" in this instance. I would say the original Bitcoin is the real one. If that's the best one is another question entirely. Certainly has the most support currently. I guess BCH is the only other one really in the running to be considered real by any means. Only time will tell what is the true success. The original will always be the real one to me though.

The real bitcoin for me is on those times that i read up Bitcoins whitepaper when im still a newbie back in previous years. I dont even care on other people says even on Roger ver or into those lightning network or fork groups or whatsoever. For now i do love its usage and the opportunity that it give but the thing i do hesitate now is that its true usage on whats written on the white paper is already opposing because of such high fees and slow confirmation of transactions.

Many people these days have came into bitcoin not knwoing what it is, except the fact that it is a way of making moeny, they treat it as an investment and that is all, they don't know what it represents, i won't lie at first i was one of those people, i saw the price of the bitcoin and i thought that it would be a good way to make moeny, but after a couple of months of using it and diving into it, i learned what it truely is, i discoverd the true reson why satoshi nakamoto created this currency, for me bitcoin is a way of life it makes me feel like i am actualy in control, knwong that i am not being watched by goverment or banks that limite the way i spend my hard earned moeny.

Simple, if that were to happen that will mean that bitcoin failed and some other coin will need to change the world and take the lead, there is only one bitcoin, all other coins are different projects, that does not mean there is innovation going on those coins but if they want to replace bitcoin they need to do more than just creating an ico and have some flashy name.

Yes.Its sad to see that bitcoin getting decided to be true or not by the bitcoin antichrist and FUD spreaders.They are trying their level their best to show BCH as the best alternative to bitcoin to solve the solutions which bitcoin suffers.Even they go the extent of terming BCH as the true bitcoin fulfilling satoshi's idea

I view it like how a kingdom works. Bitcoin is the first king, the founder of crypocurrency without him any other coins won't exist. By the years passed by it will grow old, start to suffer some disease high transaction fees, clogged network etc. We do treatment by doing this hard fork but still he can't live forever. With this in mind is Birth of the Prince/Princess (Altcoin) which have more capabilities , much more flexible (higher blocksize), etc. Soon the current king will die and a new leader will be choosen, who it might be? We still don't know.
For me Bitcoin has few more years before it will be replaced as the top coin. It will not die but his current seat will soon be taken by someone.

This makes me think that it would have been better for Satoshi Nakamoto to patent the brand "Bitcoin".
This might be against his consept,but there are hundreds of forked altcoins called "bitcoin" and their number will increase.This creates confusion around the newbies and they might just abandon btc and use ethereum.
I still believe in bitcoin core,but it`s harder than before to use btc as a digital currency and buy goods and services.   

Huge amounts of forks will only dilute the forks and make the actual Bitcoin (BTC) shine as the #1 original coin.

The real Bitcoin is the original network that has not forked, and that is, the current 1MB, Nakamoto consensus network that we've had since day 1.

Well, you stand to be corrected on that part. The current 1MB Bitcoin is not what we had on day 1, as far as I know. The truly original Bitcoin had a blocksize equal to 32MB. It was only later that the size had been dramatically decreased by Satoshi himself since back then 32MB blocks were a little bit overkill. And so large blocks would likely lead to heavy centralization of the network even today, beyond what we already have. Which is one of the reasons why the Bitcoin Core team don't want to increase the block size.
