I'm not going to deceive anybody. If the system crashes, then all the players will get the compensation.

Most of the HYIP I know are investing the money they gathered (gambling, bets, ...). But they were not only giving the old members the money of new members.

In the context of the bitcointalk forums, HYIP = ponzi. Always.

Name only one HYIP program that its not a Ponzi.

I will give you some names:

Solidinvestment
Studiotraffic
Zeek (2 million people was burnt in this ponzi, BTW)
etc, etc, etc,

All HYIP are ponzis. If its not a ponzi, is not a HYIP. HYIP's pays a minimum of 3% weekly interest, up to 7%. Only thing paying such guaranteed interests are Ponzis.

Even Wikipedia agrees:

Quote from: Wikipedia
A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors.

I have no doubt that this one is.
But isn't it specified in the website?

Real HY investment opportunities don't have websites. In fact real HY investment opportunities prefer not to be known at all by you, me, my poor dead grandmother and/or the taxman.

Any evidence that uinvest is a ponzi?
Even if that's the case, that does not prove anything.

99 % of the downloaded files in torrent are illegal stuff (movies, songs, ...).
That does not mean that you can't use that technology to download something you have the right to download.

Most of the HYIP are ponzi. That does not mean that it is not possible to website a HYIP who is actually investing money somewhere...

Pure logic. If you have an amazing biznezz model that allows you to have +5% return per week, you don't need other peoples money. You start with $1,000 and after 4 years you are FILTHY RICH. Just do the math. Or... OK. I will do it for you. With an amazing bizznezz model that gives you 5% weekly return, you invest $1,000 and after 4 years you made $24,332,397.77. Yeah, 24Million. These guys that have this amazing investment skills are demi-gods, and they are sooooo generous that they share their skillz with you and me, and they allow us to participate in their amazing bizzz.

Those are only ponzis, don't fool yourself. They use new investors money to pay old investors until the system collapses. Full stop. It's a scam. If you enjoy participating in ponzi scams because you like the thrill that goes with trying to be "the first in" and "the first out" (only way to REALLY profit from that shit), then go ahead, but call things by its name.

Do you realize that it is not because you have an amazing idea that can make a lot of money that will double every day that you could start with 1 000 USD and do it 24hours a day for a lifetime? If you want to build a stadium and sell tickets, you can't start with 1 000 USD.  Roll Eyes

You said "+5 % return per week", I have no idea where you found this one... But it will take more than 7 or 8 months to break even the share. For instance, if you pay 100 usd in a share for whatever (a restaurant...), you will get 10 usd a month for that. And it will only be for a limited time (usually 2-3 years). So basically it's not possible to invest for 4 years, as you said, and you will only get 4*12*10 = 480 USD, far away from $24,332,397.77 Sad

That's exactly the same as buying a share of an Asic miner or whatever, and waiting a few month to break even / get some ROI.

If you make a ponzi, you can fool people once.
If you really invest money, you can earn your life for years.

I think that most of the HYIP disappears because they invested the money badly, with low forex experience, not because they were scam at the first place.

Wise up guys. For a quick rough demo of this madness we put in 1 BTC at 5% per week compounding for a mere 5 years :

double value = 1;
final double scaler = 1.05;
final double end = (365 / 7) * 5; (no squeals please. it is not production code)

for (int i = 0; i < end; i ++) {
    value *= scaler;
}

System.out.println(value);

result= 323,011.3316355211 BTC

lol, you can have more bitcoin that satoshi very soon  Wink
