I want to use my huge dell server just for the case it has great ventilation but I am worried about the PSU on it.

it appears to have a 20 pin plus a 8 pin. is the psu at all salvageable. I am concerned that if I do not use it I might not find a PSU that will fit the old opening.

I was tempted to use a my other server since it has its own dedicated riser card that i could rip out when i use my riser cables but all of the fans are hot-swapable and directly mount to the motherboard. it has dual psu but they also are swapable to the motherboard they are useless for other motherboards.

I am currently looking to salvage some old servers they are completely operational but i have heard so many nightmares of gpu's drivers using server os.

any help is greatly appreciated.
