Do we need to study English to be successful?

To be competitive yes, but I don't think you need to learn English to be successful. There are alot of entrepreneurs who actually don't know a shred of English but are successful enough to hire translators. What I'm saying is that learning English could give you an edge and be globally competitive, but learning this language to be successful is kind of a reach. Besides, different people have different views of success.

As we know now English is international language that spoken by people around the world. And it is no need for people that learning and spoken English to became success. In my country(Philippines) it's a must to be successful. The good thing is it is integrated in the education system, so every school year, we get a certain kind of English lesson, usually getting more and more complicated each year.
