Dear all,

On the 7th of July 2017, i've transfered 10000 unit coins to my Yobit account.

Yobit Unit Address: PLLqTrC1Wuu9udvPsp9mKSmewzsLDnLfLR
Transaction ID: 96677596a1385b0037ed66f4e1257570d5b4cef609344c42aefc80b2231e8277

After I made my transaction from coinExchange to Yobit, the unit coin wallet went to maintenance. I thought this can happen and I'm not going to use them anyway for the next period.
I've directly send an support ticket with the question when it would be available again because i made a transaction.

The answer Yobit gave:

Wallet  is on maintenance.
The solution to this cryptocurrency will take some time, need to update the wallet.
We apologize for any inconvenience

A week later still maintenance, and I've repeated my question, and they just repeat their answer.

All other support tickets that followed up the next months, no answer.

As above I can prove (also screenshots) that my transaction is approved, why is yobit not crediting it to my account? And come on a wallet maintenance for almost 5 months? really?
Yesterday cryptopia had also a wallet issue on UNIT coin, it was fixed within 12 hours.

So is Yobit stealing money from me? Well it actually starts to look like it, no responses waiting for almost five months and no money?

Yesterday I've send them a mail that I'll have no other choose then start a lawsuit if they don't deposit. Its worth 10000 dollars, it serious money for me.
It makes me really sick everyday, because its made from mining together with my best friend. While he's not blaming me (yet) i feel really sick because of this.

Are there more people of which yobit stole money from?

Do you guys want to start a lawsuit or go to the Feds Internet crime?
Can we maby join forces together?

Thanks,

Yet another scam accusation against YoBit

Last year I opened a scam accusation against YoBit because of ARCO (AquariusCoin (link to the scam accusation thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.0)), painted them and some of their staff in red and they solved the issue (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.msg17019449#msg17019449), but this time my patience is over. See my tickets to YoBit:

They needed about 7-8 months (time frame painted in red, but I opened the first ticket after some time) to update the wallet and now it's taking about 2 months (painted in black, but again the first ticket was opened after some time).

You may think of it like it's just another s*itcoin under maintenance, but there are financial losses to ARCO holders! Currently I am able to see about 22k coins in sell orders up to 3600 satoshi, but I suspect they are a lot more and that YoBit is probably staking the coin. Where is the financial loss here? Well, I am a major holder (though I have 0 coins on YoBit) and I have about 115k coins. I am able to stake about 10k coins/month, which at current prices (ARCO ~2500 satoshi & Bitcoin @ $1760) means ~0.25 BTC/month or $440. Let's assume that these 22k are 1/5 of my holdings. This means ~0.05/month, ~0.5 BTC for these ~10 months under maintenance or $880. Now imagine if they match my wallet? We're talking about close to $5,000 potential loss of the holders for doing nothing (other than to keep their wallets open 24/7). What if the price goes up (ARCO's current supply is only 1.2 million coins, there are real people behind it and there's much space to grow)? What if we mention these other 10s (or maybe 100s) of coins, which are under maintenance for months? I am almost certain that YoBit screwed people with 100s of thousands $!

Guys, please post link to threads of coins, which are under maintenance for too long and share since when they are under maintenance. I'm not removing my negative trust, until ALL of mentioned coins are not fixed and I kindly ask fellow trusted members (at least I'd like to think I am one...) to paint them in red as well!

IF the issue with ARCO is not fixed within the next 10 days (until May 25), then I'll do even more than just opening a thread against you.

To all - my suggestion is to withdraw your coins (if possible) from the exchange, because (I repeat as I said in the previous thread) they will disappear...

YoBit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594), fix your shit!

Cheers,
Spartak

Yobit scammed his clients - no withdrawal - no support - no nothing

Hello guys,

i am relative new in crypto. So i wasn´t aware of the warnings regarding yobit exchange.
There are dozens of active coins in "maintenance mode", which means ppl are not able to withdrawal.
Support tickets weren´t answered and there is totally silent from their side.

I´ll hope that someone is able to provide me some details of the owners of yobit. I am firmly determined to take
legal action against the scammers. I am also well connected to some regions in russia where my wifes ancestors
came from.

For helpfull information i am willing to donate some bucks. I am not sure it is worth the effort, but i refuse to accept
this obvious kind of scam.

To all newbies:

Stay away from the Yobit exchange!!!

Hope to hear from someone with helpful informations. I am desperate.............................

they have many accusations and do not even bother to post here in the forum to defend their little reputation, in short, you must hire a lawyer and report your case to the police, I suppose that the owners of yobit are citizens of russia

Thanks for your reply,

The most bothering is indeed, you will not get any info/answer from them with a solution. Its in my opinion very simple if you own somebody something and you dont respond for a long time, its stealing.

Also seen their servers are located in the US, the US law will also apply to them. With a small court request you could by example ask the judge to repo their servers until they have paid. Properly that will hurt Yobit the most.

yeah sadly yobit takes ages to fix wallets that don't have high trade volume , that's why they shouldn't be offering a lot of shitty coins
is the coin UNIT Universal currency ?? if so then it's weird since the volume in yobit is close to 17 btc now , maybe people don't know yet that they can't withdraw
I'm afraid that there is no much you can do except waiting , yobit already has a red tag due to similar issues with some coins so they don't care about topics here
even CLAM has been on maintenance for over two months now , it seems yobit are so lazy to fix the low volume wallets

Yes its the universal currency. Since the 7th of July your deposit will not be credited to your account, and its not possible to withdraw (unless you sell them for BTC ofcourse)

Just thinking... , but isnt it not supprising that yobit sells a lot of unit coins on the market while its not possible to deposit.... feels a bit like Yobit is doing well to sell their own handfull of unit coins before i'm allowed todo. I dont like conspiracy theories, but it could be very well possible that Yobit is doing the wallet maintenance on purpose....

The issue is not new, its a very old issue with yobit.
If you search the forum then you will find lots of scam accusations with the same issue before the month of July.
So I doubt you already knew about this issue and yet you have deposited there to trade.

The only solution I can think off, sale your UNIT for BTC or USD and withdraw your money.
So far I haven't heard any issue with BTC and USD withdrawal.

I will not directly consider the issue as yobits's scam, but I would rather say it is TECHNICAL SCAM.

With a small court request you could by example ask the judge to repo their servers until they have paid. Properly that will hurt Yobit the most.

you should be concerned about your situation and yobit should be concerned about their situation, if you file a lawsuit against yobit you are doing your part and in a way you are helping thousands of clients who were harmed by yobit

Also seen their servers are located in the US, the US law will also apply to them.

I read comments from someone who said the owner of yobit was Russian, but I already forgot where I read this and I'm not sure if it's true or not

As I have read many scam reports about small exchanges like yobit, cryptopia and liqui I stay away from them most of the time. I only use them if there is no other way to do what I want and then only do my business in small batches, so far I have not encountered any problems myself. It seems like this happens mostly with larger amounts.

The best I can say is that please don't use any exchanger without seing threads here or as we see it can cause some fatal erors, people lose money and register here after that. There are still many people who don't knows about yobit's unethical actions. They even trade dead coins, they do any shit to get much profit. Currently revealed every bad bitcoin service provider is usually tagged here so just try to google, scroll down and look for bitcointalk threads (bitcointalk has good positions in google so it makes search process very easy).
Does it worths for you to hire lawer? I guess it can't change situation or it will cost you a lot of money.

I am really very sorry to hear about your loss.
After reading your post, now I can't think off any solution for the issue.
The issue is very much common at yobit, and they are very much experienced in doing this shit.

Is UNIT dev team active or left the project? If they are active then contact them and tell the story.
Request them to contact yoshit in order to update their wallet. I don't know the procedure will work or not but it will not hurt to give a shot.

As yoshit didn't updated the wallet since 5 months then I doubt they won't update it now anyway.

Always their explanations when you are about to withdraw your bitcoin which was in their possession for depository purposes but when your about to withdraw this was always most of the unreliable ICO's explanation maintenance or something error in their fuzzy excuses made by thos untrusted and those will eventually turn to be scammers.

@shield, well for me its worth it, cause its worth over 10000 dollars and you can also join forces to do a mass claim.
I believe in justice and ignoring people who should have a lot of money which does not appear on the balance is crime in my opinion.

If they dont want to keep their clients happy in a reasonable way, then they need to feel it.
I feel really sick knowing that they stole this amount of money from me, so i'm not going to say,,,, oke guys keep it as a reward for your good service

I really get the feeling they do their wallet maintenance on purpose for some coins.....

Unfortunately, that is literally how yobit operates. I'd say that half of their markets listed there are artificially priced because either the deposits are in maintenance or withdrawals are in maintenance meaning that you're literally trading nothingness.

You just simply cannot depend on them or their support.

Beware of them, and do not deposit anything that you can't afford to lose. You could be waiting up to a year or more here.

Copy/paste from one of the many other Yoshit scam threads:

Why do people continue to use this exchange for trading and storage? Yobit's risky practice of locking accounts and coins is well-documented here. Sending coins to Yobit is playing a risky dice, almost always in favor of the exchange keeping the coins.

For those who ignore the countless scam reports, I can suggest a few charities who accept bitcoins for a good cause. You would be doing this planet a greater favor by donating your coins to them. It's the exact same thing. When you send coins to Yobit's hot wallet you are donating your coins to this exchange.

Agreed. And since OP has confirmed that it's 1.5 BTC it's a huge amount of BTC to be trusting a random exchange in Russia(or is it even located there, now) that has an absolutely dreadful reputation of being consistently the worst place to trade your coins and has consistently the worst customer support out there.

Even though i'm sure you did nothing wrong, you should have been informed on yobit's shady activities.

Their environment basically is completely toxic, the entire exchange relies on pump and dump coins to operate and wallets are in constant maintenance mode. People's money is stuck in every way you can imagine. OP, if you don't get your money back or even if you do, learn your lesson and don't return with a new account.

TBH bitcointalk have allowed this scam exchange to to rip-off forum members for far too long. I have been warning users about this exchange since they scammed me many, many months ago - & I'm not the only one. Over the last few weeks Yoshit have been flooding their thread with fake noob comments from literally hundreds of shill accounts - even posting in Russian, even though it's the English thread, in an effort to hide the hundreds of complaints about them.

It is simply a 100% scam.

It's about time BCT moderators put a stop to Yoshit & their scammy activities by locking their thread for good & not allowing them to advertise on BCT ever again. By doing nothing BCT is actively helping promote this scam - it's got to stop.

@BCT moderators - stop advertising this scam - kill their thread please.

PIA went evil: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203968.msg53160131#msg53160131 Unofficial & Uncensored SYSCOIN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4748031.0    Do not trust Yobit/HitBTC/BiteBTC/coinsbit/p2pb2b/Mercatox/C-cex/Poloniex/WEX/KuCoin/LiveCoin/TheRockTrading/Bitfinex/ADAB/Okex/TradeSatoshi/Gate.io/Changelly/Freewallet.org/crex24 scam exchanges or ICO's by known scammers like HashCoins/Ambisafe/Bountyhive - they WILL scam you! Use diligence & research. Buy coins, sell coins - don't invest in stupid shit. If your questions aren't answered - don't touch it.

Hello,

I am also victim of this website and I would like to join forces to file a complain against this website.

I transfered 1.05 ETH 2 days ago but website was crashing all the time and could not give me a ETH deposit adress.

I had a message saying come back in 2 minutes and again and again.
I don't know what happened but the ETH got sent to my ETC wallet instead of ETH

I imediatly open a support ticket knowing that you can recover the ETH and place it in the right wallet. You just need the private keep but only yobit support has got it.
I sent detail of the transaction but since then, nothing but being told by yobit chat admin there was a slim chance to recover. They are stealing lots of people because after my chat, people saw my problem and I receive messages from them telling me they had the same problem.

How would you like to proceed ? I can get the people who PM me to join us.

dominikherzog the chat admin ask me to be patient. Hopefully, they will do something because after all, I own the ETH coins and the ETC wallet.
