I agree, I hate banks, I generally keep my money in several different banks, and different countries. I dont trust all my money in one bank, but I feel my Cryptos are always safe with me.

Properly used, your bitcoin accounts are SIGNIFICANTLY more secure than your bank account.  But they also aren't insured, are far from idiot proof, and can't undo accidents.

I personally like control, take care with what I do, and accept the loss of accidents and no insurance, so I use bitcoin.  But I understand why people like banks.  I'm still waiting for the French bank or whoever to gain some reputability, so there can be a trustworthy bitcoin bank in the wild.
