It certainly will survive, because the currents that occur in bitcoin also affect altcoin, and vice versa. For example now bitcoin prices are down and altcoin prices also come down. Bitcoin and altcoin like flowers and bees are mutually beneficial to each other and will not survive if there is not one of its supporters.

Moreover, a lot of Altcoins that have good quality. Because I personally will continue to invest in Altcoin although the price of Bitcoin will touch a very high value.

If Bitcoin can survive, altcoins can too. Actually, there are many altcoin technologies, which are better than that of bitcoin. Altcoins were in business and will remain in business no matter what happens with bitcoin. Bitcoin is standing on its own. So as many other alternative crypto currencies are standing on there own. Once there was time where market movements in the bitcoin would affect the altcoin market significantly. However recently many of these coins have garner larger investor base. Coins like ethereum, dash, monero, litecoin etc etc are today looking strong on their own. Price of these coins is less affected by bitcoin movement.
In short altcoins will remain in business. Strongest and brightest of them will thrive in future. Look at wave as recent example.

Altcoin until this moment still survive and experience the development with strong Bitcoin in the market. but Altcoin's efforts are not only up here, Altcoin has an ever-increasing increase and makes this coin so awake and able to continue to increase in the future.
